A secret spot a little off the beaten path. Love finding new hidden gems around st. PeteWe shared the mozzarella wheel of the day it was made with ham and topped with basil and cherry tomatoes. Great for sharing. The garlic bread is a couple dollars more but worth it. I ordered the butternut squash ravioli and my date ordered lasagna. My ravioli was excellent. The cheesy coconut sweet cream sauce with pistachios was amazing. I would definitely order this again. My date liked his sausage lasagna too. Great portions. He also said his espresso was perfect. Service was excellent. We also really enjoyed the quiet ambiance with low lights. Really romantic vibes. Great date night spot.

An Italian restaurant with no shrimp and little other seafood? An Italian restaurant with no bread service? Very average food, and very slow service despite not being busy. When I asked for penne rather than linguine, the waiter said the chef would not recommend that, and likely would not do so. Not sure why this restaurant has a good rating.

Mozzarella wheel - interesting- this week it was pistachios and blueberries wrapped in mozzarella - needed a pinch of salt for me, but a yummy change from my usual caprese order at an Italian restaurant. The meatballs were tasty - though they needed the ricotta dollop I asked for (but they forgot). Hubby had the Sicilian lasagna. The sausage had a different flavour than he was accustomed to, but he ended up liking it. I had the salmon piccata, and it was delicious. They were kind enough to give me some roasted potatoes instead of a side of spaghetti. Caramel gelato for dessert. YumOur server Jamee was very friendlyWhile I understand they wanted to have an Italian atmosphere, I didn't care for the ancient (40's maybe?) Italian music.

Our server was amazing. We had a party of 10 and she did a great job. The restaurant was extremely hot and we had to ask three times for air. They do not have a full bar just wine. The Marsala did not taste like any Marsala that I have had. The taste was mysterious and not good at all. Can't say I will revisit because the food really was not satisfactory. Six of the ten people did not enjoy the food. There are no pictures because the plating was not even impressive.

Great service, knowledgeable personnel, and absolutely delicious food! We had spaghetti with meatballs and pistachio chicken cutlet and both were amazing. Great selection of wines as well. We'll definitely be back!

I took my friend here for her birthday and I believe this place has the best pasta I have ever eaten, especially the sausage meatballs (WOW). Usually i'm disappointed with how my pasta turns out (over/under cook, dry, soggy, etc.). I wanted to give GUSTO a try and i'm glad i did. My friend is a vegetarian so they had a good selection for her to pick. I also really enjoyed the wine. Friendly environment, it felt is if all of the workers were a family. My only complaint is the parking situation; very small and limited (thankfully someone was leaving). I do recommend reservations prior to visiting here.

Absolutely fabulous food, service and ambiance. Home made, desserts are out of this world and they serve real sodas!

Stay away from the lasagna. It's served in a hot skillet smoldered in tomato sauce with at least over an inch in the pan. I have never had lasagna in "soup".I'm 50/50 on this place. Everything seemed average. Decor, service. Although parking in front is dangerous.
