Green's Market Meat & Produce

We have been searching for a butcher shop here in Winter Have. it's like searching for a needle in a haystack. A friend of ours from Ohio asked if we ever tried Green's Market? You'll love it! Wow were they ever right. We spent almost an hour in the store looking at some great deals on every type of cuts imaginable. All top quality meat. Plus the butcher is very accommodating to your needs. Cutting, grinding and preparing meats for you.While you're there check out the vegetables. Huge selection of potatoes, tomatoes, onions, peppers you name it and they most likely have it. From the butchers to the checkout ladies, all are very friendly. I ordered something I haven't had since moving down here and that's "Minute Steaks." Never heard of them? Ask the butcher about them. You'll be glad you did!

Bought a prime rib for Christmas and it was wonderful! The butcher and check out girls were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

If you are looking for a place that actually has butchers on staff, this is it. They care about what they do and it shows. It's an older building with all kinds of meats, frozen items and veggies as well as things you need like freezer bags, spices and the like. The sales are terrific and if you want a piece of beef cut into steaks, or pork cut, they do it just the way you want it. Check their online site for specials and sales and then head over there. I am going to day because boneless, skinless chicken breasts are $1.39 a pound today. Oh yeah. I'm stocking up.

Amazing grocery store! Veggies are wonderfully cheap. I live about 40 minutes away and would rather travel than go to Walmart for my food and Walmart is practically next door!

My patients were ran thin with this store today! To start off I was in there grocery shopping with my kids and my boys were trying to convince me to purchase ribs which I politely declined to do so. My boys continued to stand there asking me to buy them I walked off to the other side to continue to look. An older gentleman came out of the back and Yelled at my 2 6 year olds to not touch his meat! Yes, they shouldn't have been touching the meat but they are 6 not adults! He proceeds to walk behind me after I told my boys to put their hands in their pockets and not to touch anything else. I continue to walk around the store to see if there was any reasonable priced meat that I could buy to feed my family and decided I could get meat elsewhere at a more economical price. As I'm going outside I ask the older cashier that has been there since they opened when did they start selling Colorado Boxed Beef she didn't understand what I was saying. Another male who said he's the "owners Son" said we have always sold this particular meat here with an attitude. I proceeded to say " well I recall the prices were way lower u know less than $57 for a pack of ribs also the fact that y'all used to cut meat in the back". Very argumentative the "owners Son" said "Yes we have since 1992" and continued to mumble under his breath! Needless to say we will never shop there again and their prices suck!!!

I was shopping with greens back when they were just a produce stand,many yrs ago. And I continue to shop there today, there good people!

Five stars! As good as it gets is correct! Great meats at prices you can't get anywhere else. Friendly staff. I bought a meat freezer so I can buy in bulk. I've never eaten so good! BOGOs are always a hit!
