Five stars for service with a smile, including chef as soon as we walked in. Nice! Unique decor with the old wooden headboards and rustic wood. Cozy, enjoyable, and a kick back feel with 5 star quality menu. Traditional wine, beer options with the added local brews and cocktails. Try the Orange Blossom Brewing Honey Pilsner, Pig on the Porch with Bacon or Florida Orange martini. Most popular dishes are smoked Gouda with pork belly and every weekend is a new special. Keep an eye on Facebook. Support local! It's a winner in our book!

We had our first visit during the downtown Christmas festival and had hour and a half wait when told it would be approximately 15 minutes. We both ordered the rice and beans and jambalaya but had to wait another hour to receive them once we finally got a table. We decided to try again two weeks later and called to make reservations. We all enjoyed the Cajun specialty meals again and highly recommend them! Also...try their Mac and cheese...amazing!Nice small town restaurant with helpful wait staff. We will definitely be back.

We recently moved to the area and have been looking for new places to try. After reading the reviews and looking over the menu, decided to give Green Door a try. Overall, we were quite pleased with the restaurant. The have two different rooms for dining- the main area and then an overflow room. We were sat in the overflow room.....this room could definitely use some TLC. Our waitress was great! Checked on us often and made some good suggestions as well. I was a fan of their food as well. I had their Crema pasta dish- yum! We also ordered dessert, which I highly recommend. Their prices are a little high, but it's worth it based on the quality. Would return in the future!

The food was ok! The "gumbo" had only 2 shrimps and so much vegetable. The spinach dip was made with mayonnaise it tasted like? The fresh baked cookies were good though. The staff was friendly but the customers like to stare if you're a poc just FYI

Cute spot for about average prices. Classic American dishes with a rustic feel. Not something to rave about but a good lunch spot. Server was kind and fast.

Waitress was friendly and helpful when we asked about menu items. Food and drinks were very tasty. Parking was available when we got there, but it filled up by the time we left. Street parking is also in the area.

This was a cute little find in Dade City. Such great ambiance and really pleasant service will definitely have us returning. The rack of lamb was probably some of the best I've eaten. Small tweaks such as having the tables set with silverware and napkins before seating the guests, and making sure the drinks arrive before the apps were about my only complaints. Delish!!!

Our second time here for Sunday brunch -- yum! We always sit outside on the patio. It is facing a parking lot but still lovely, especially on a nice weather day. The servers are very professional. The interior is a cute, a wonderful re-use of an old space. It is small inside, so it might get loud at times. We love the brunch menu, there are so many amazing choices, and the prices are good too. I got the biscuits and gravy, and I think they were the best I ever had! I also got a cup of the jambalaya, it is spicy and just as good as the jambalaya I've had in the French Quarter in New Orleans. The dinner menu looks a little pricey, might be a good choice for a special night out. The lunch menu looks really good too and good prices, we will be back for that!

I would've given this place 5 stars but for the service, which was good but missing a little something. For example, we got there before another couple but they were almost seated before us (same # of people in their party and ours). Also, the server didn't give me silverware at all and she was so difficult to track down. The food was good.Loved the Mac and cheese! I've never enjoyed it so much! Jambalaya was good too.. the chic play sandwich was just okay - it didn't seem to have any "chic play sauce" in it which I don't even know what that is! lol the fried green tomatoes weren't good.

It was my first time visiting the Green Door, and I had a lovely experience. We were greeted immediately, and the hostess quickly pushed tables together to accommodate our party of eight. Our server was good, but she kept walking away before anyone could order another cocktail. The spinach dip was out of this world; it was creamy and cheesy, and the bread used for dipping was baked to perfection. I'm a fan of fried green tomatoes, and the Green Door did not disappoint. The main course was delicious, but my only complaint was that the Brussels sprouts should have been crispier. Overall, the Green Door is a great little establishment in downtown Dade City!
