Where many of the locals go. Good food. Good service. Reasonably priced. Great place for breakfast before kayaking with the manatees- I wasn't hungry for hours after eating there.

What a hoppin place! They close at 2, so we got there right about 1, waited 5 minutes to be seated as they were busy. We looked over the menu and placed.our orders. I got the chicken & waffles. The waffles were light and fluffy and the xhicken was very, very good!

We tried Grannies Restaurant for breakfast on a Monday morning after a recommendation from Guyers. The food was basic and edible, but the service fell short. With only three tables seated at 7 AM, we expected better attention. Our coffee was served cold, and we had to ask for fresh cups. We even had to get up and ask for strawberry jelly at the bar because no one came around to ask if we needed anything at our booth. On the positive side, the atmosphere was warm and homey, which made for a nice setting. While we appreciate the suggestion, we'll likely choose Breakfast Station or The Biscuit Barn next time. Grannies has potential, but the service needs improvement.

Nobody does it like grannies. This egg and cheese breakfast sandwich was phenomenal. Staff was very friendly though a bit slow although the place was packed - so maybe it's just a testament of how good the food is. Perfect breakfast spot. Very authentic

What a fun spot to find ... after packing the car to head home from FL we finally found a spot to stop for a bit to eat ... Granny's was perfect as I'm always having breakfast & hubby is wanting lunch! Yummy & double yummy ... service was friendly & perfect - although this place is small - they flip these table quickly & everyone is constantly smiling & keeping the place spotless!

A down home cooked breakfast the pork chop was awesome. Service was good! A little pricey for breakfast but worth it

Great food, great service, but can be very very busy. We ate here both for breakfast and Sunday lunch and the food was great. Sunday the place was slammed, but there special of the day was turkey and dressing along with two sides.Pricing is very good for the quality and the quantity of the food served. Located along Suncoast Highway, parking can be difficult when busy. Go early and be patient, this place is worth it.

Food and services Suck!!! Over cooked and over charged for items sent back! $40 wasted!

Crazy busy. The food was ok, but it took them 3 try's to get our order correct. Had a great waitress, was an ol' lady that had trouble standing up straight, thought her name was Fran, she never stopped moving, and kept my sweet tea full. Small indoors. It was ok, I mean, breakfast is hard to mess up. It just didn't live up to the local hype. Check it out for yourself. I was hoping for a great little local dive, like I said, it's OK. Weak coffee
