Gorditas Don Huicho

Are you kidding me?! I've lived in Clearwater for the last eight years and I've never heard of this place!!??? That's practically a sin. Kind of a dingy place when you walk in, where you practically have to be Mexican to order anything on the menu.I tried the Gorditas - Chicken and chipotle sausage. Very good but will do without the added iceberg lettuce. Then we had Campachano tacos which were amazingly tasty. The Mexican Steak takes the prize though. OH My God!!! I couldn't have asked for anything more juicy, tasty and just all around delicious. It was basically epic to put it mildly. The green sauce goes with everything though my fiancé found it a little spicy. Perfect for my buds though. Go go go. You won't regret it. My new favorite place. Will be back many times to try everything on the menu. It was that good :))

This place is so good, and is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in Clearwater. The portion sizes are very generous, and you can tell everything is made fresh to order. The inside has lots of room, from booths to large tables for larger parties. The staff is always very welcoming and attentive. Everything feels and tastes authentic. I'd highly recommend trying the gorditas, specifically the Tinga Con Queso Gordita. Sooo good, can't wait to come back!

I've been here several times because it is close to my house and I will admit, their chilaquiles are tremendous. Pros: Chilaquiles The food is good Alcoholic drinks are good Never have to wait to be seated Cons: They're frequently out of soda (Diet Coke in particular). The music is usually too loud so it's difficult to have a conversation at your tableThe service is hit or miss, it can be great one time, than completely inattentive the next.

I love their chile relleno dish. Whenever they have them, I get them from my husband and I. I scour our city and neighboring ones for good chili rellenos and I feel there's are the best. Unfortunately they don't always have them but hopefully one day... they will always be in stock.

This Mexican restaurant is not good!!! service is horrible mediocre waitress will disappear and then you have to get up from your table to go find her! I was there just today Sunday! after 40 min a got up ask my waitress for my food and she said in a very rude rude manner food will come out when it comes out! At that point I decided to leave since food never came!!!!! Horrible place!

I work in Clearwater and I have a friend who I ordered the food for because they only speak Spanish. I ordered the food and was given a certain price and when my friend went to pick up they charged her a different price and they did not give her what I ordered for her as well. After she came back she told me what happened and I called them. They called me a liar but the liar was them. I speak and know perfect Spanish. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. They are not good buisness people. This is not the first time this has happened as we work a couple of blocks away from the place.. PRICE GOUGING!!!

Authentic. Loved the Mole Verde. Good service and nice atmosphere. Will return and try some of the other menu items.

Hidden gem in Clearwater. Bottles of Valentina at the tables is always a good sign. We had the pollo burrito and the gringa, both were delicious! The meat in the gringa was so well seasoned!

lo que ordenas no es lo que recieves , caundo vas a un restaurante piensas que vas agarrar lo que sale en la foto del menú pero aquí vas y te lo dan chiquito. Mi hermana agarro unos sopes también y son el size de una galleta

The place is a little dirty, however, they have the best gorditas I have ever eaten in Florida. I ordered the chicken gordita with sliced avocado and it was great! The beef and nopal was OK too but the chicken one was better. They were made fresh and the customer service is good too. Also got the guava aguas fresca which I also enjoyed.Management, make sure your staff cleans the table and chairs better. Otherwise I would have given you the complete 5 stars.
