Amazing time! She gave a 30 to 45 minute discussion all about alpacas and then we got to feed them and interact with them. Great activity!

After coming to the Tampa area (more like Odessa / Keystone) for quite sometime to visit and constantly passing the ranch we decided it was time we visited the ranch. Oh man.. my only complaint is I wish we had even MORE time with the Alpacas. It was an awesome experience and totally worth the almost $100 bucks for myself, my mom and her best friend from High School. The alpacas are very sweet yet timid docile creatures. And the wool just feels so cozy.I believe our tour guide's name was Lindsay and she was super informative. I definitely want to come back next time to hangout with the alpacas! I mean they are just so cuuuuute.

I did a thing! It was so much fun and you wanna know what else? We went on Thanksgiving Day morning! What better way to kick off the holiday season then petting, feeding and learning about Alpacas! Brenda, the owner is super-duper sweet and cares for all of them. She educates you all about the breeds, difference between llamas, and Alpaca personalities. Each Alpaca has cute farm names too like Rainbow, Xanadu, Lollipop and such. I loved it. The farm is beautiful and is a ideal for photos, especially by the pond. This will def be an annual visit! Alpaca my bag! (Haha)

I've driven past the Golden Spirit Alpaca Ranch a lot, and I never knew it was an agribusiness. But when my friends returned home from Scotland and wanted to see if we could check in on them, I was game. We bought our tickets on line for $30, 8:30 am tour on a Saturday morning. The house is set back from the road amid old oaks. The inside is now a gift shop with a taxidermied Alpaca when you first walk in that is so wonderfully done. Up stairs is a bathroom with a door that does not lock. The tour guide (I didn't get her name) was very nice, knowledgable and friendly, she gave us the history of the ranch and info on how to tell a llama and an alpaca apart, as well as the different types they have on the ranch. We then set out to feed the alpacas. They each have different personalities and while most were skittish, several were sweet and loved their necks and bonnets pet. We even got to see Simon up close, though he didn't want to eat from our hands. It was a lovely way to spend the morning and support agribusiness in Florida.

With the pandemic going on, a good friend of mine and I decided to visit the Golden Spirit Alpaca Ranch as it was outdoors and a "private tour" was available with Brenda, the owner. We had an absolutely wonderful time. The location is bucolic. The animals are extremely well cared for. Brenda was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions regarding alpacas. We had the opportunity to gently interact with the animals and feed them some treats. Would highly recommend this educational outing if you're looking for something fun to do!

Where do I even begin!!? A true dream come true...this ranch is an alpaca lovers paradise!!! My boyfriend surprised me with a fun filled Saturday tour of Golden Spirit Alpaca Ranch for my birthday. Our alpaca packed tour started at 11 a.m. with Brenda giving us a detailed history of her ranch and the history of alpacas. Then we walked over to feed both the male and female alpacas...they were such delights!! All of the alpacas had names and were very friendly for being shy, docile, and timid creatures. We even got to meet Simon the llama who helps ward off predators. All around, a 5-star once-in-a-lifetime experience!! Necessary joke: Wanna go on an adventure!? Say no more, alpaca bag! ;)

This is one of the Tampa Bay area's hidden gems! I found out about Golden Spirit Alpaca Ranch through Yelp and instantaneously knew I HAD to visit. I went this past Saturday and had the BEST. DAY. EVER. First off, use the address on this page and not the one with Spencer Road. If you're traveling from Tampa, it's going to be on the right on Tarpon Springs Rd., so don't drive too fast or you'll miss it. I wish there were bigger signs to the ranch. I also wish there was someone to guide the parking since the other guests and I had to guess on how to park. Park on the driveway and just fit in any way is pretty much how we did it. You go into the house (watch your step throughout the house) to check in. After checking in, you meet behind the house where the owner gives a very informative presentation about their ranch, alpacas, and how to interact with the alpacas. After the presentation, the fun begins! My group got to interact and feed the alpacas for at least 30 minutes. Although the tour was only $25, it felt priceless! I highly recommend this to anyone of any age who loves animals. I'm definitely coming back!BTW, one improvement I can suggest is for them to keep up with their emails and phone calls. I inquired through email and phone call regarding the tour and did not receive an email reply and received a phone call a few days later. I guess their phone hours are only M-F until 5pm or something.

This is a fabulous activity for the whole family. The tour includes an educational talk about alpacas and then interacting and feeding the animals. It was a lot of fun and something different. Each of the animals has a name and very unique personality. I loved the name tags that they wore. There is also a gift shop with clothing made with alpaca wool. I did have some difficulty finding the place because when I went to the address it directed me to a different entrance which was also closed. In the end I was just early (a real problem for me) and once they opened up it was great.

I had such a wonderful day getting to tour the ranch. The alpacas are adorable and very well taken care of. On the tour, I got to feed the animals and learn a little bit about the animals. I got the most amazing pictures and it was well worth my drive.

Great experience. When you're looking for the entrance make sure you continue down tarpon springs road just pass where you see the first golden spirit alpaca farm sign on the fence. Literally a minute past that on your right you will see the red brick entrance about 3ft tall on each side. The guest entrance sign should be on the outside of the brick. It was a little hard to find at first. Wouldn't recommend bringing children under 5 just because you end up watching your kids more than you do enjoying the experience. Would also recommend going during the cooler seasons of the year. Went in May and it felt like 100 degrees out! Brenda knows her stuff - she's the owner. Place was super beautiful! I'd recommend this place!
