Golden Bowl

This place is fairly close to my house, but we just never tried it because we had our "go-to" Chinese spots. However, while Hurricane Helene was approaching, we lost power pretty early in the day, so ordered this place for delivery. The delivery time was listed as a very fast time, but it did take about 45 minutes to receive from order to delivery. I'll be completely honest, this was mediocre at best. My son ordered teriyaki beef skewers and plain lo mein. The lo mein was unseasoned. It tasted like plain boiled pasta. The teriyaki beef wasn't too bad; it tasted good but was completely dry.I got the Mongolian beef combo meal and my partner got the bourbon chicken combo meal. Both were very bland. The fried rice was basic at best. I bit into many hard peas. The egg rolls are absolutely terrible. They tasted frozen, they were barely warm, and they felt like they were pre-fried and sitting out.The common theme with everything we ordered was bland food made with cheap ingredients. We honestly couldn't finish any of this food with one exception: my son did finish the teriyaki beef. Realistically, I don't think we would ever order here or eat in this place just because all of the food was pretty tasteless, the quality was subpar, and I just frankly can't spend my money at places that are ok with serving substandard food.

Just, purchased Food from "Golden Bowl".Their Quality, has gone Down!Tiny Bits, of Meat and No Flavor. Time, to find Somewhere else.The "House Special " fried rice, was reprehensible!!!

This is my favorite place for house special fried rice. The quality and texture is always perfect!I wish I could have the secrets revealed to me so I can make this at home.

Great food. Quick service. Decent prices. Fresh quality food served. Love the crab Rangoon and bourbon chicken.

GB used to be a solid choice for lunch. Now, the food is sub-par. I used to order Mongolian beef--until my order became 99% onions and 1% meat. A months later I gave them another chance and ordered Sesame Chicken. Flavorless, rock-hard nuggets of God knows what and for some reason, my white rice had a soapy aftertaste. Lost a longtime customer. Oh well.

It's food is fresh and very good, i highly recommend the boneless pork ribs. Always gets here quick!

If you love hot and sour soup, Golden Bowl has the best! I have yet to find one any better! They put chicken in theirs, which is something I have never found at any other restaurant. It's a very hearty and great tasting soup! I have also ordered their orange chicken and their garlic chicken, which is equally delicious as their soup! I always get great friendly service when I go there, and am in and out very fast. The owners are always very nice and even stayed open after hours when I got stuck at work one time and wasn't able to get there until ten minutes after they were supposed to close. They still handed me my order with a smile, and didn't show the slightest aggravation towards me with being late! I highly recommend you give this place a try!

We ordered from here recently. Whatever I ate I have been sick. Please go somewhere else.

This place has gone completely downhill after it was taken over by new owners! The quality of the food is horrible! The shrimp egg rolls were over cooked and when you bit into them, it was mushy! The shrimp fried rice has no flavor. The whole experience was disappointing, I threw all the food out after tasting it! I will never go there again!

Disgusting!!! I have ordered from this place quite a few times. I was down to the last couple of bites of my shrimp Mei Fun & saw what I thought was a piece of burned onion. When I picked it out and looked a bit closer, I realized it's a cooked roach. How Disgusting!!! Never again.
