Gerstle's Clearwater

Walking distance from our hotel, our group decided to spend a few days at Gerstle's because of the convenient distance. The bartenders were fantastic. We built a good rapport with them and they gave us our drinks in a timely manner. The food isn't great. Order a few things off the menu and they left us with a bad taste in our mouths. The jerk chicken wings were anything but. Instead of the traditional dry spicy seasoning that normally gives a dark hue, the jerk wings were instead bright orange and saucy which isn't what jerk chicken is supposed to be. The brisket tacos i also would not recommend because the bland generic flavor just didn't do anything. The sliders were also very dry and flavorless. Don't come to Gerstle's for the food. Come for the immaculate Clearwater vibes and drinks served by friendly bartenders.

The best onion rings! Fresh and hot. Perfect seasonings. We just wanted a snack and this hit the spot. Domestic beers $3. A couple of years ago, happy hour used to include craft beers too.Service was great.

Really diverse menu with " Kentucky Flair"Drinks were cold and tasty. Relaxed atmosphere with many servers who will checkin on you even if not their regular table which was very much appreciated. Would recommend to anyone interested in a low key environment with excellent food in an enjoyable setting.

A fun place at the south end of Clearwater Beach that is always welcoming! Sports bar type theme with plenty of TVs to watch. However, don't let that fool you when it comes to evening entertainment! Most weekends they have live music followed by a DJ. This last evening they had an amazing band with a young lady that had extraordinary vocals! This place is not over populated and definitely a great place to go. We had the Ahi tuna nachos which were fabulous! So good in fact that they were eaten before I got a picture! That is one dish I will go back there just for it! It is an open aired bar with inside and outside seating. Most outside seating is covered. Great for larger parties and small ones too. A great place overall to check out. Most locals go here too when we don't want to be bombarded by the real young beach crowd. The vibe here is relaxing and feels more like a home town place with the beach vibe people!

The food is delicious! The staff are amazing especially James the waiter. Jeff the face of this place is so down to earth and knows his customers no matter how many times you've come here and treats you like a regular. Love this place and love the friendly environment. Definitely a must in Clearwater!!

What a hidden gem. Its at the southern most end of the beach. They have a great layout with a large patio. They have live music and sometimes they have a DJ. Wings are superb. Perfect cooked with a nice crisp. Sauces are delicious. We had buffalo and honey garlic. The honey garlic was sweet wi5h a hint of garlic. Buffalo was slightly spicy with good flavor. They are very dog friendly! The servers were super nice and attentive. Jesse Ray was playing live music on a Tuesday. He is great! Has a country vibe kind of like red dirt country from Oklahoma or Texas. Looking forward to coming back on a weekend to enjoy the nightlife. I hear it becomes a fun spot on the weekends.

Great place to watch any sports. Staff was great. Always someone saying hi and asking how we were. I had the Grouper bowl. Veggies guac, and nicely grilled grouper, in rice. Delicious. Lynn and the chowder.Everything was very good. Perfect place to hang and enjoy great food

Our server Haley was amazing! The all you can eat snow crabs was out of this world! The manager and service was excellent and the food fabulous! Will definitely come back!

We saw this sign the other day and decided to walk down from our hotel to check it out today. The bartender said she didn't know anything about it. I think it's inappropriate to post a sign and not honor it. They were very few people in this place and we left.
