Geo’s Lounge

I came here for my birthday with a few friends of mine. And we had quite an adventure and quite a bunch of fun out here. First things first, I met the owner and he told me that his birthday is coming up on Monday so that being said, he gave us a few complementary shots on the house and he also took a shot with us. That was a cool experience. After that, we decided to just stay for drinks and then we eventually left.The reason why I know we really like this place, it's because after the concert concluded, we ended up coming right back to this place in the exact same spots for more drinks. And the exact same thing that happened the first time happened the second time... We ended up with more free shots on the house because of the birthday celebration. we also decided to get some food which is not listed here, but it was a great experience and I really liked and would come back in a heartbeat.

A group of us in town from the D(c)M(d)V(a) came to Geo's last night for the Next Level entertainment Mi Amore Monday Happy Hour. The lounge was very nice and decorated beautifully! The DJ and saxophonist were great both playing oldies and new music that kept the crowd engaged. Service was a little slow in the beginning but as more bartenders/servers came in things got better. Geo's partners with an Italian restaurant on the same street for food, we ordered mozzarella sticks and chicken Alfredo.

Today, my friend and I discovered this charming lounge, great atmosphere , and excellent service by our bartender AJ. We truly enjoyed the vibes, great music, and very nice ambiance. I didn't really care for my chicken wings, I had better, but my friend liked her pizza. This is really going to be my favorite place, and I can't wait to go back.

Loved the vibe here! Cool fluorescent blue light that emasculates the space inside. They have one TV and one projector to watch sports and what have you. Geo's is a great spot if you want to throw an Andrew Jackson on a nice sized glass of wine! I had the Bonanza cab sav and it hit the spot, but not worth the price in my opinion. The red wine was ice cold and I really thought it was supposed to be room temperature. I'm not a wine connoisseur, but I know that white wine is typically the chilled one. Overall service was great from the two bartenders who were very informative of their inventory.

A fan of Duo Amici, so when Geo decided to open a lounge next door, to cater to the grown and sexy, I knew it would be a vibe to Tampa, and they have not disappointed. Definitely a grown and sexy ambiance and service. The lounge to check out on the weekends usually there's a guest DJ and it seems to just to expand, what was once wine and beer only is now a full service bar with appetizing bites such as wings, jalapeño, poppers, loaded, fries, and more. I be met Geo and his staff and enjoy the hospitality they provide.

Communication sucks. I've been trying to Book a private event and I guess the owner ghosted me. First he responded via email saying I needed to text (A little unprofessional) then he got a little information and stopped messaging after asking how big the guest list was.Too bad for him, we had a very high budget for food and drinks ‍ we're just going to find another place that actually wants business.

My wife and I were here Friday evening and thought this would be a cool place to checkout. The decor is upscale as well as the prices. The Wine menu is via QR code which is on the table surface as well as a placard on the table. When you pull up the menu, the first thing listed is their $600 plus bottle of Champagne. Really? Most wines are by the bottle and limited wines by the glass. They also have some cocktails (limited), beer (limited), and a charcuterie board. My wife asked the waitress about a cocktail and the waitress was clueless. The bartender answered the questions and that is what she ordered. The cocktail was ok. I had a beer only because the one wine I would have ordered was $26 a glass (Pinot Noir).When the bill came, the charges for the drinks were higher than on the QR code menu. The manager explained that the increase in the drink prices was the 20% service fee. The math did not add up plus the 20% service fee was added at the bottom of the bill. After showing the manager her explanation was not valid, they gave us a 50% discount off the entire check. We did not ask for it, we just wanted to pay the correct the pricing from the menu. We did leave the appropriate tip for the waitress as this had nothing to do with her. End of the day we won't be back.

This place recently opened and I was excited to try it out. I made reservations not knowing how busy it was going to be. They did put a reserved sign on our table in a cozy spot against the wall with a bistro table. The place is nicely decorated but here is the problem. The prices are outrageous! $8 for a Corona and $14.99 for my cocktail with some kind of orange liquor and rosé sparkling wine. The prices listed in the scanned menu where not the same as what was on the bill. The manager came over and told us 20% was added but that was not the case. They also automatically added 20% gratuity for a party of 2 and that was not listed anywhere on the menu. Needless to say we were underwhelmed with the cost, policies and drink prices. My drink btw.. was just ok. The manager did take half off our bill. We were just looking for a correction. 2 stars for that. IMO a bougie champagne bar is out of place in Ybor.

Great new spot in Ybor City! If you're looking to get away from the bars and find someplace nice with a great selection of fine wines and champagne this is where you need to be. Stopped by on Sunday and the vibes were great to end the week. Stop in and see Bel & Alex and they will take care of you.

I found Geo's Lounge on google while attending a conference in Tampa. I walked in and was easily accommodated by Geo's team. Kay (the manager) was amazing and had great hospitality. The ambience was exceptional and the hookah and drinks were perfect. I recommend this place!!
