Gasparillas Pizzeria

Our experience here was terrible. We stopped in on a Wednesday hoping to get a quick bite - 2 adults and 2 young kids. There was only one other table of people inside so seemed like it should be no problem. We ordered a salad, a chicken parm sandwich, and 2 kids pizzas. The food took an INSANELY long time to come - like 40 minutes for the salad and sandwich, and close to an hour for the kids pizzas. There was only one person working in the kitchen who seemed to be working hard, but they were clearly understaffed. There were a ton of people waiting around for a looooong time for takeout orders when we left.When we finally did get the food, it was very underwhelming - but honestly we wouldn't have cared if it was quick. Will never go back.

During my first visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza slice, especially for 1 AM. It tasted fresh and was not overly greasy, which can often be the case with late-night pizza. I ordered two large pepperoni slices for about $8, and they did not disappoint! While parking in the area is limited, the slices were already preheated and ready to go, so I didn't have to wait long. This was great and very convenient. I will definitely return!

Gasparilla's pizzeria has opened another location in Tampa Florida!Great location right off Platt st with indoor and outdoor seating.We had to come and check it out, we're big fans of the Brandon/Valrico location and everything is so delicious they have the same menu items and the pizzas always have the perfect crust so if you're in Tampa looking for good pizza this is the SPOT!!

Gasparilla Pizzeria has opened this second restaurant and it is off to a great start. The service is friendly and professional and i.enjoyed the overall vibe of the business. I am a fan of pizza and growing up in New Jersey, I just took it for granted that great pizza was available on every corner. When I moved down here back in 2001, I was quite shocked and surprised to find that great pizza (or even good pizza) was not available on every corner. In fact, great pizza (or even good pizza) might not be found in a whole city or town and the people of that community might be forced to go to a Domino's Pizza, Papa John's Pizza, or one of the other national pizza chains (which I consider to be a fast-food version of pizza).So, when you find good pizza here on the Sunshine State, it is cause for a celebration and what better way to celebrate than with a slice of pizza in hand.Gasparilla Pizza is a great place for pizza and I would definitely recommend here if you are in Tampa, Florida and craving pizza.

Excellent service. Two people in our group needed gluten-free crust. The restaurant was out, so they quickly ran to go get more in record time. The food was very delicious. Great hospitality in a very casual, relaxed atmosphere.

Obviously, (per photo) I am a carnivore (I love meat), but I am allergic to wheat, dairy, & egg. I have eaten all the GF/Vegan pizzas in the area. Gasparilla is my favorite. The brown rice base gives this GF crust a roasted flavor. It is chewy but also crispy, and it is satisfying. I am in LVE. My personal tip: top your pizza with thStinging Honey Garlic Sauce. Side Note: the wings are also AMAZING!

Great pizza. We used to go to Palazzo's and know the owner. He sold to the present owners and admitted to me their Sicilian was better than his. He is right. Great pizza. One of our go to's for pizza.

Food,Service and Ambiance all 5+ stars. Fantastic family restaurant that has improved with new staff, remodeling and updated equipment Absolutely looking forward for the next time I can return!!

Went in the other day after a walk around Hyde park and was very impressed! Amazing pizza and garlic knots! Will be back!

What a fabulous experience at this south tampa gourmet eatery. Many new menu items including gluten free pizza,6 different salads,14 different wing sauces,a light side menu and Batista the salad guy made me a fantastic fresh and tasty salad
