Came in n side the Joinery after a concert at Lake Mirror. The friendly staff whipped up a fabulous little snack to share of loaded nachos with shredded beef. We skipped the salsa (tomato allergy). It was super yum!

Decent food and prices. Hubby got a quesadilla that he liked, not the best we have had in Lakeland. He wouldn't get it again. I got nachos which were fine but not the best. The food was ready pretty fast. A nice choice when at the joinery.

Very rude employee. Taller white boy with earring and chain. Ordered churros not realizing they came with anything on them (menu options looked like choices) for my little sister. When she got them with the sauces on, she went up to the employee and politely said she did not want anything on them, and he said "oh well you didn't say that" and turned her away. No need for such rudeness, especially to a ten year old. Eventually remade them after her father had to go back and talk to the employee, but he then messed up a different order for my family. Overall, disappointed in the lack of customer service or basic decency shown by this company. Would not go back. Churros weren't even very good.

Gallito Taqueria Pork quesadilla was very flavorful but overly oily. The salsa was delicious, just enough of a hint of spice, and the gauc was mediocre. Staff was reluctant to provide extra dipping sauce. Probably would try again.

Pros: *great modern location at The Joinery in Lakeland *super cute aesthetic and experience*great menu options *food tasted greatCons: *TINY portions *extremely overpriced for the size We were so disappointed that we paid over $30 for 2 TINY quesadillas, 3 TINY tacos and 2 drinks. Literally each item was only like 1 or 2 bites. And they were not piled with food either so it's not like they're small but loaded. If they did bigger portions at their current prices, it would be a completely different review from me.

Went with a group, we all ordered tacos and ended up eating only the meat, which tasted ok. The tortillas were all saggy and wet, they all broke when holding the tacos, just disgusting. I wish I made a different food choice!

Anytime, we go to the springs of northern Florida, we drive at least an hour, out of our way to head to Lakeland and this place at the joinery for the best Birra tacos in the state! On our last visit, we added the street corn and nachos. As normal, it was delicious.

I always come to the joinery, but trying this place is a first for me. The taco isn't bad it's juicy, but on the other hand the broth is not real birria. The Broth was disappointing. It's almost like I'm dipping my taco into beef bouillon.

I really enjoyed this Taqueria at the upscale food court/ meeting and eating area at The Joinery in Lakeland on Main. We all ordered a couple things to try and it was perfect. The employees were nice and got it done. The portions are a bit small that is the only drawback though. I would consider the best choice the puffy tacos but my table mates might differ. The puffy two tacos were fried to appear puffy and had cheese, lettuce and sour cream with ground beef. The Chips and Queso came with a lot of fresh chips and a smallish amount of white Queso in a cup. The chips outlasted the cheese. The Queso was creamy and had good seasoning. It would be perfect with beer from the bar but it was daytime so we didn't partake. The pork carnitas tacos were on special that day only and were made with a green sauce that was so delicious. The carne asada quesadilla was tasty. The meat on it was plentiful too. Good stuff. The street taco combo was yummy as well. The pork carnita tacos didn't have anything but onions and cilantro, as is the traditional style, but they were flavorful. The frijoles taco has corn roasted salsa that was good. They had traditional Mexican Jarritos sodas too. If you need stronger drinks or fountain drinks both are nearby. Ooh and the churros awesome! This is a solid place to eat at The Joinery we'll be back!
