Full Belly Deli

Full Belly Deli (FBD) is a wonderful little hole in the wall deli. The atmosphere is friendly with the flavor of where locals go for a quick & flavorful bite. I enjoyed the food, the atmosphere, and talking to the only employee who is also the owner. FBD has the best potato salad that I've ever eaten anywhere. Their sandwiches are very good. I strongly recommend trying the Ruben or the French Dip. This is a great place for anyone. Stop there, you'll not regret it!!

In case you hadn't noticed... I love sandwiches. I also love playing hooky and friendly folks who give directions and advice for what to do and where to go in a town. You will get all of these and more at the Full Belly Deli. The sandwich was yummy. The environment was more than friendly. I would hang out at this place all day. Although it's far away, we hope to be back someday.

I'm so glad we found this deli...When I saw the outside..I was a little scared of what was going to be inside..It's nestled between a gas station and a bait and tackle store on Fort Island Trl. When we walked in there were a few locals hanging out..the owner was super friendly and a little granola (I love hippie sandwiches) there are some beads for sale on the counter....lots of photos of people with full bellies on the wall...and they served up a delic sub style italian sandwich with some special recipe cheese spread..yumm..and a special recipe oil and vinegar...It was sooo cheap too..wow..this place was the best sandwich..and cool down to earth atmosphere...I wished I lived in this town..so I could hang out at this place...If you are on your way out to Fort Island check this place out.....
