It's nice to have options and this grocery store has plenty. Located in West Tampa not too far from a Publix is a grocery store with traditional Latin baked goods and other items you can't typically find in all grocery stores. Worth a trip to stop in and check out.

Loved grocery shopping here! It's a Winn-Dixie but with all the Latin ingredients, products, snacks you could dream of! It felt like shopping in Houston again. I am so delighted with the produce selection too! Usually it's a sore spot for a Winn-Dixie but everything looked to be really fresh and not well...sad (if you shop WD you know). And if you know shop WD you also know the prices are magical. 2 rolls of Maria cookies for .97! I didn't need Maria cookies but you know I got some. It's not a "convenient " shopping experience as the store is pretty unorganized and the checkout line is painfully slow. The lines weren't longer than 1 or 2 people at my time of shopping but I was still waiting in line for what felt like ever for my little spastic brain.

Fresco y Mas is a slice of Havana, Cuba in Tampa. Highlights include the hot food area with lots of pork dishes, fried foods (empanadas, guava and cheese, even spinachi), rotisserie, empanadas, and grilled sandwiches like the media noche and Cubano. The store is brightly appointed in yellow and has lots of Latin brands. Plenty of tubers (malanga, yam, etc.) and various of bananas and plantains. A place to eat inside is right by the hot bar area / bakery where you can also pay without going thru check out. There are lots of opportunities to practice your Español. All in a family style friendly slow paced atmosphere. It's not fancy and they were out of some advertised items. But lots of fun things to try without ever having to get a visa or face an embargo. Viva Fresco y Mas!!!

It's very affordable especially when they have weekly specials. We stopped by after going to Happy Fish next door in the same plaza. If you don't mind waiting in line to checkout - it is worth the savings. A couple days ago, we got 10 likes for 0.98! Again, I can't stress the promotions because it really is the best deals especially compared to Publix whether it's meat, juices or vegetables although it's a limited selection.3 stars because checkout is slow and this is an older location where there's only one entrance for entering and exiting, so pretty sure it's a safety violation.

Wanted to make Barbacoa tacos for dinner for some friends. Went to another grocery store looking for some of the specialty ingredients and meat cut. Couldn't find what I was looking for and remembered this place. They specialize in the Hispanic market, order whole pig, find all vegetables and ingredients to make that Latin dish you've been craving. Being apart of Winn Dixie i dislike that you have to have a rewards card for overpriced items to receive your discount. they should just price accordingly. There's a nice cafe with empanadas, cafe con leche and other warm treats.

I was super weirded out when I stopped here recently and saw that the Winn Dixie had been converted to Fresco. I wasn't sure if it was still a grocery store. It is. It's actually still exactly like Winn Dixie with a few more offerings of latin food. Good wine aisle and all of the sales are the same as what Winn Dixie offers. New name, same store. Just new colors in the aisles.

This ethnic grocer is a subsidiary of Winn Dixie and the are doing it right, if not, waaay better than any other WD we've been to. VERY clean, great variety, plenty of well rounded options and choices. 5 different types of Morcilla, when most stores have none, unless it's a bodega. All the way to having our Fresh Pet brand of moist pet food. This will be our new go to grocer. The sale prices are also really good too.

This used to be a Winn Dixie and essentially carries the same products: produce, pantry goods, meats, deli, bakery, hot meals, etc. plus you can still use your Winn Dixie Card and Plenti Card! They re-worked the the deli and hot meals lay out a bit, but it's much more functional! They've added more hot food selections like empanadas, but they still have the array of roasted and fried chicken and sides. As I mentioned, it's essentially the same as the previous Winn Dixie. They've changed the paint and logo, it's bright yellow accent color on the exterior is easy to spot. On the Interior, the aisle signs are in both English and Spanish. So if you don't speak Spanish, no worries! You can still get your grocery shopping done. The staff is also bilingual and very friendly which is fantastic!Their pricing is compatible to Winn Dixie's - less than Publix but sometimes a little more than Walmart. They have changing deals: Buy 2 get 1 Free, Buy 3 for X Amount of Dollars, etc. I purchased 3 12-Packs of Diet Soda using the Buy 2 Get 1 Free, they were $5.49 each. I also purchased about half a pound of Manchego Cheese for $8.00. Next time I go shopping there, I will add more photos including pricing for comparison. My only suggestion is the variety of cheese. Their cheese selection was 90% Latin or International, and only had a small selection of Charcuterie types of cheeses. They had Manchego, Asiago, Parmesan, Goat Cheese (not the rolls), and Cheddar (just to name a few) but no Brie or White Cheddars, or other hard cheeses. I hope the feed back will allow them to expand their selection.Overall, it's a great grocery store with an overall variety of products. Definitely worth a visit if you've been a customer of the previous Winn Dixie; don't pass it off so quickly. I will certainly be back!

We went to this market early this evening and at checkout my wife, who is Hispanic, asked the cashier if she spoke Spanish? The response was very rude ....the women said "no and why should I" in a very aggressive tone. We will never go back to this store which is located on the corner of Sheldon and Waters in Tampa. It would have been easy and polite to simply say that she didn't speak Spanish!
