If you're ever in the Tampa area, head on over to the coast in Dunedin and check out Frenchy's Outpost!! They're located on the causeway to Honeymoon Island. We spent the day exploring Clearwater and stopped for some much needed refreshments and a bite to eat, before heading out to watch the sunset. The vibe is definitely beachy and you really feel like you're on a tropical island. The service was very friendly, helpful in selecting and our food and drinks both arrived quickly. Melissa had the Fire Island Shrimp Tacos, they were huge and packed with toppings. I had the Tropical Shrimp Flatbread - it was massive and loaded with fresh shrimp, melty cheese and a really unique citrus salsa. My Frenchy's Rum Runner was boozy and dark and fruity, definitely packed a punch Everything was very reasonably priced, which was a pleasant surprise! If you're in the area - you definitely should check them out. I know that we'll be going back every time we're in the area!

We are SOOOOO glad we stopped here for lunch/dinner today. Despite the place being packed, we were sat quickly and our server came to take our drink order promptly. Being our first time, we asked her for some menu suggestions and she could not have given us better recommendations. He had the tropical fish flatbread and I had the island fire shrimp tacos. Both dishes had incredible flavor and the portions were HUGE. The prices were incredibly reasonable.This place has got it going on!!!We will definitely be stopping by for more than just one meal next time we are visiting the area.

Honestly an amazing little Frenchies bar and grill, run and owned by the same people that have serviced the Tampa area 4 years on years! The staff here was insanely friendly and we're very attentive. We were able to walk across the street because we were staying at the hotel right next door. They have some very good drink specials and happy hour snacks. I decided to get a beer, some of the amazing fish dip and a fish sandwich for dinner. The beer was ice cold and served all the way to the top with a very thin head, one of the best pores of beer I've had in a while! The fish dip was just the right amount of fish flavor and was served nice and cold. My favorite thing about this dip is that they don't use too much Mayo and it doesn't take away any of the flavor. It is a very light fish flavor but I do wish you get a little more for the price you're paying. The fish sandwich is the thing I will get no matter what! It is always fried to perfection or blackened depending on what you order. It is a nice size piece of fish and I love the bread that it comes on, the bread always being the perfect amount of breading to fish ratio! My brother got a frozen Daiquiri drink and it was honestly one of the most refreshing drinks I've had. You can really taste the alcohol in this thing and after a couple, you will definitely feel it! Some amazing staff, great food and drinks and some pretty decent prices will get me to come back here every time I am in the area!

What a great place to have lunch! We really enjoyed this location. The food was delicious the service was spectacular and the views were beautiful! We had great weather while visiting and the outdoor seating was just perfect for it. We ordered the grouper nuggets to start which were great. I had the coconut shrimp entree that i really enjoyed. Everyone in the party had the same reaction to their food. Definitely a place i will revisit when back un Dunedin!

The food was good, but I wish my burger had more jam on it. I couldn't taste much. Whatever buns they use are so good! Not oily/greasy either. I got the kettle chip option instead of fries or coleslaw, it was a great choice. It was very good! The dirty banana was a 10/10 alcoholic drink. It tasted like a desert. I ended up getting 2 of them. Our server was also amazing! She was very funny and provided amazing service.

I forgot to take a picture of my food but it was the best seafood I had. Grilled shrimp, grouper, and scallops. The parking was good. Service was fast and the staff were friendly. It feels like a great place the locals go. I would recommend a light jacket if it is chilly out. 90% of seating os outside.

Came here for lunch today with the kids. Unfortunately it isn't as kid friendly as some of the other places in Dunedin. They have high chairs but no coloring books or crayons for the kids. The food is okay. Their famous grouper sandwich was alright, seems like something that I could make at home TBH so nothing that special. Kids meals were something also that looked like it came out of a box - like the Mac and cheese. Grouper bites lacked some flavor. So if you're looking for a place to eat that is " fast food " style then you've come to the right place. I'm not sure if I would come back here. Ambiance was also super loud and noisy. Service was great though so that's a plus! I rate it 3.5/5.

Recently visited them for their first day of being reopened after Hurricane Helene. They had to do a lot of work to get it back open, and everything looked amazing and service and food followed suit. Had the blackened Mahi Mahi and their jalapeño hush puppies and they were all cooked to perfection. We had a party of nine that was easily accommodated and our server did an amazing job taking care of us

We wanted to support a local spot and decided to check out the new, expanded tiki bar. The Frenchy's garlic crab fries were amazing, as usual--a must-try! I also enjoyed the coconut shrimp, paired with an ice-cold drink that was perfect for washing it all down. Our server, Bianca S., was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made our experience even better. We'll definitely be back!
