Still the best buffet I've ever been to.Sunday afternoon had about a 15 minute wait. Our server Steven was really nice and took plates away instantly. All the food was absolutely fantastic, none of it seem like it was made for a buffet. All the hot stuff was piping, hot, and fresh. All the cold stuff was chilled perfectly. Can't really list any favorites because there was 12 things that I could say was the best I've ever had (fried chicken, turkey stew, skillet cornbread, sweet potato casserole, corn casserole, Italian cream cake - just to name a few)I tried about every hot item but 5, hit up several of the cold salad bar items, and then tried six desserts. It was bustling in there w/ smiles everywhere. Floors were surprisingly clean. Plates stocked too. Can't wait to come back on next trip.

Fred's Market, if you want some southern cooking, go here. It's buffet style, you can get salad or anything from the buffet. The staff will tell you where to get the buffet to go containers. If you decide eat there, usually there is a wait. The music is usually playing and it's very casual there. I got all hot food and a salad. It took about 2 days to eat everything. Go check it out.

I've been here several times and it's very consistent both in good service and food quality. They do a great job by continuously, replenishing their salad, entrées and dessert. To be seated, this is a popular place so there's usually a short wait but well worth it.

Well...this buffet busted some buttons, I tell you what. I was visiting a friend from high school days that can eat like a horse due to her metabolism and oh boy was this a place to chow down. A true southern meal can be found here, but beware of mixing so many southern style foods. Their fried chicken was ok, but lacked many many drums. Those definitely got picked first so they usually only have breasts available. Loved rhe staff, the service and drinks to go!

This place gets packed and with good reason.I admit, when I hear "buffet", I usually turn my nose. Buffets usually offer mediocre, dry, bland food. But THIS place... this place was great! All of the options were always stocked. They have disposable gloves available at each end of the buffet lines. The food is not overly salty as some southern places can get (for my taste). I honestly have no complaints. You will leave full and you will need a nap afterwards.

If country cooking is your jam, head over. Fried chicken, lots more meats and fish, mashed potatoes & gravy, so many sides, salad bar and lots of desserts. I think it's just that I don't love deep fried food and soft cooked veggies. The service was wonderful and friendly, seating outside of booths is a little crowded. I'd like to try the breakfast buffet next time.

This is a great buffet of Southern Food and the restaurant staff are pros. If you are dining on Sunday, plan on a 45 minute wait. I have been eating at different Fred's locations for years.I arrived and there were a lot of people waiting on benches inside and outside the restaurant. I gave them my name and then went to gas up my car. When I returned my name was next up on the waitlist. They have a nice handwashing station right by the door.I was seated and I noticed there were empty tables even though there is a wait. The front of the house paces seating so you are not elbow to elbow at the buffet and the chefs can keep selections full and fresh.Their southern fried chicken is a staple on their buffet. Dinner entrees rotate on certain days. Sundays they have a kettle of pot roast and vegetables. Pork ribs are available after 5 PM on Sundays. They have a nice little salad bar and plenty of southern style sides. The dessert bar is staffed and my peach cobbler was scooped out hot by a host. I guess you can add ice cream but I went with two desserts. I love the nice touches like their heritage Johnson family bbq sauce and your choice of bread from corn muffins, corn bread or biscuits. It is nice that you can purchase a single plate or unlimited buffet. Sometimes you don't want to stuff your self. I like that my server greeted me promptly and filled my drinks and cleared plates without any effort on my part.At one time they had a few Orlando area locations but the Lake Mary location closed during COVID. So I guess I will need to hit up the Plant City area locations.

Such a satisfying meal I only got a picture of my first plate! All of your favorite southern dishes in a buffet. There are options for single plate prices if you're interested, but we went straight for the full buffet. The service is super friendly and quick! Our drinks were always full and plates were always cleared. The mojo pork and ribs were so good!! They ran out of fried shrimp which was a bummer. Save room for dessert if you go!

Good food. Pricey. Totally enjoyed the Catfish & chicken. Some people should not eat at Buffets, using hands.
