2nd time ordering from Freddy's and the food was barely warm with cold spots. Almost like it was microwaved. Food was ok, but dont like that food was barely warm with cold spots. very disappointed. I HOPE they will rectify this problem. Even the soup was barely warm.

Call me spoiled but I grew up Northern Chinese, Boston, and NYC, so it's become a quest to find something similar in Florida to enjoy. I had great hopes for Freddy's after browsing previous reviews, but the experience fell a bit short. It was New Years Day, so I won't deduct any stars for the wait, it was expected. As previous reviewers have noted, it's not the prettiest location around, but again, it's truly the food we are worried about when it's to-go.We ordered the Mongolian Beef, Pork Egg Foo Young, and the Sesame Chicken dinner combos, as lunch was unavailable due to the holiday.Mongolian Beef - way too many onions, I felt that they overpowered the meal in general and it was lacking in protein by far. The meat wasn't crispy or spicy, rather bland, unfortunately. If we dine here again, I'd ask for them to spice it up and cut down on the veggies.Pork Egg Foo Young - here's where I gave some stars, the eggs were done well, crispy on the edges, full of fillings, and just the right amount of grease to seal the deal. The gravy was also similar to the ones I've had up north, thick and dark. Yummo!Sesame Chicken - typically Florida style, again basic and a bit bland. But enjoyable. Passing score. The included egg rolls were the cabbage/red pork style - I do enjoy these, but I know others may crave the more traditional style. Finally the cream cheese wontons, they were more economical than most places, 10 for $5 or so. However, while it was tasty, they had a very small amount of filling. Our total was around $33 and honestly, I felt it was a bit overpriced, as the portions felt more on par with lunch portions elsewhere. We would return, but make some special requests when dining next time.

Ok this place has possibly the most depressing interior and exterior of any restaurant I've ever been in.Let's just say it's drab. However, much to my delight, the food is excellent. My chicken and broccoli came out piping hot and fresh. The garlic sauce was on point, with just the right amount of white rice.The.flavor was very fresh. While I ate, the entire staff sat down to a delicious meal of who knows what. But I envied their plates. They even had a fresh watermelon. They could stand to freshen up the building a lot. But for food, it's an excellent choice in the middle of nowhere.

Absolutely terrible!!! I called ahead 30 mins made my order upon my arrival was told it was gonna take another 20 mins. So, I left to go to the gas station and get gas, when I get back they inform me my order was given to someone else and they'd have to make it again. So, I waited another 15 mins for my order and it tasted like it was rushed. I got a free dollar coke for my troubles. Save your money and go to Hibachi Express in Auburndale by the Wawa the food is way better and so is the service!!!! I would have given this experience a zero stars but I had to give it one star to post my review!!!!

Tasteless Chinese food. Unfortunately one of the only places around. I've tried multiple dishes there hoping one of my favorites would be edible but this place is a no go.

Freddy's is our favorite Friday night go to for some of the tastiest Chinese food you'll find anywhere. Prices are super reasonable and portions are very generous. In fact, what I order on Friday night also provides lunches on Saturday and Sunday. And they have figured out how to do pandemic takeout like no one else. Great setup and wonderful food. Is it Friday night yet???!

Went to Freddy's for the first time and the girl at the counter made a point to welcome me and asked me where I was from because I was a new face from the regulars. The food we got was awesome! I will be going back for sure!
