Fratelli's Pizza and Cafe

Heard the owners are from NY, so we decided to take a drive to check out thispizzeria. Well this place did not disappointThe pizza here is just like being in NY.The Sicilian (square) is the best I've hadsince moving to Florida. Other slices we tried were also some of the best. They make a grandma's pie which is hard to find outside of NY.They offer hot entrees, sandwiches, saladsand wings. There are a few tables both inside and out.Plenty of parking in the shopping center.

Friday 9/13/2024Once again, another spot that my cousin strongly recommends and praises but will it deliver in terms of expectations?We made a order over the phone and I got 12 ct bbq wings, grandma pizza slice, 6 ct garlic knots and a regular nyc style pizza 16". For some reason the pizza (& slice) got cold relatively quickly even though we got the pizza as soon as it was ready and it was only a 7 min drive to get back to house.- the grandma pizza slice was decent with a decent texture and it was easily better than the nyc style pizza.- The nyc style pizza 16" was alright with a soft texture but it was nothing that was special or impressive to me.- The garlic knots weren't bad but they were pretty average. - The bbq wings were pretty basic but they were alright.Yet again, another spot my cousin has greatly overrated.

If you want good authentic New York style pizza, Fratelli's is it. Fast and friendly service. The owners are great always nice to chat with. Anytime I come in for a pie it's always fresh.

Really good pizza at a fair price The crust is nice and the sauce tastes homemade. Lunch special is 2 slices and a drink for ten bucks. A solid spot for great pizza

best pizza in tampa area. I've tried all the spots and this is my go to. Grandma is classic and has great flavor! Regular and sicilian always on pointtoo. Great quality and a taste of NY in Florida

I felt like I was back in an NYC pizza shop! Pizza by the slice with a great lunch deal (any 2 slices with a drink for $10). Sicilian was my favorite, but classic was also good with a great undercarriage on the crust. Service was quick and friendly.

I might be prejudiced but the BX flavor comes through in the pizza served up in this friendly establishment. Good crust but what stood out most to me was the fresh, flavorful sauce. It's definitely not from a can. It's my go-to whenever I'm in that area

Stopped in here 30 mins before closing and had a granny slice. It was excellent and filling. I love how the owner is from NY; he's super helpful. I would come back here again.

Stopped in this local pizza place for a late lunch. It's located in a strip shopping center in Wesley Chapel by the Grove, where there are now tons of restaurant options, but I always try to support local as much as possible.It's a small place with limited seating. A large party of 8 would definitely take half of the available seating.Their menu has lots of pizza options, but it also includes some appetizer and pasta choices, along with a couple of desserts. I decided on the penne ala vodka, one of my favorites. So I'm pretty picky about the sauce. OMG...first of all, I usually ask for extra sauce because, to me, dry pasta is not appealing. I forgot to make that request but found I didn't need to. The dish came with the perfect amount, coating each noodle with just enough. Secondly, I usually add garlic powder and parm cheese for a little more flavor, but after I took one bite, I found the pasta and sauce to have the perfect burst of flavors...creamy, tomatoey, oniony, garlicy heaven. No additional seasoning required! The dish also came with a few garlic knots, which allowed me to soak and eat up the extra delicious sauce. Next time, I would probably add a protein. The only downside to my meal was that they had limited beverage selections. They offer a few bottled soda, water, and beer selections. I'm someone who prefers to have a fountain soda with ice....but that certainly won't deter me from returning.I dropped in at a time when the restaurant wasn't too busy. The staff was friendly and service was quick. The table next to me ordered two large pizzas that looked absolutely tempting! I will definitely have to return to give that a try. Two thumbs up for this local pizza joint. Will definitely return!

In search of a good pizza place while out of town, Fratelli's had the highest rating and best reviews! I have got to agree, the pizza is amazing! Thin and crispy crust, the sauce was perfect, and you can tell they use a good quality cheese. I also tried their garlic knots and they were absolutely delicious! Nice and soft with a good amount of garlic flavor. The man at the front was very nice. It wasn't too busy. I placed a phone order and my food was ready in 20 minutes. I am definitely coming back when I visit again next month!
