When you order food from Uber Eats, you're never quite sure if you'll receive a masterpiece or a mystery. Today's journey? Italian spaghetti and Caesar salad. And oh, what a ride it was.First, the Spaghetti Bolognese. The noodles arrived perfectly al dente -- as if they had been personally guided by an Italian grandmother who whispered "mamma mia" with every turn of the fork. The sauce? Rich, robust, and daringly generous, like it knew it was the star of the show. I took a bite and instantly felt like I was sitting at a cozy trattoria in Rome... except, you know, I was wearing pajamas, and the only thing Italian about me was the pizza box I had ordered last week. The real showstopper? The delivery driver, who arrived with the confidence of someone who knew they were delivering nothing short of a fine dining experience. They didn't knock; they knocked, paused, and then knocked again--just in case I wasn't aware that the gourmet experience was at my door. All in all, this Uber Eats meal was a reminder that sometimes, you don't need a Michelin-starred chef to make you feel fancy. Sometimes, you just need to be brave enough to let an app do the hard work while you enjoy a forkful of pasta and pretend you're somewhere way fancier than your living room.Rating: 10/10 would eat again, but next time, I'll wear actual pants.

I visited Forbici for the first time last night. It was definitely loud between the full house of tightly-packed tables and the live music. My date and I got the Erica salad for a starter which we throughly enjoyed. The crunchy greens pair nicely with the smooth almonds and tart dried cherries. Then, they finish it off with a creamy cashew dressing. For our mains, we had the pomodoro cavatelli and impossible square pizza. The pasta was nice and chewy with a simple tomato basil sauce. The pizza was even better than I expected. The small size was plenty for two and it's made on a focaccia-like dough. That spongey texture is just perfect. I also found the vegan sausage to have a really nice flavor. I could do without the big cherry tomatoes but the peppers and basil were great in combo with the sauce and sausage. Very glad I got to try this spot while I was in town. Thank you for having great vegan options

Definitely will return. We pass by this restaurant all the time. So decided to come here for my celebratory dinner: the frivolous lawsuit filed by Hales Blackbrick of Tampa against me over my review in December 2023 has just been dismissed without prejudice this morning. They sure will come back and try again, but that won't deter me from celebrating my first milestone: defending my right to speak truth. Forbici has high ceiling, industrial decor, with great service and delicious foods. It has mixed clientele: dressed up women, and family/mothers with kids. I particularly like - deliciously red sauce- good stems - hot and frothy milk with hot coffee - tiramisu - the best in Florida so farThe hot coffee claim: this may sound petty and bewildering but it's NOT: the coffee at Hales Blackbrick was lukewarm - enough, resting my case here. The hot milk - it's the best because I love my milk hot and NO One that I've been to does this - this alone worth returning. The wines - the super Tuscan is just super. The staff is helpful and genuine - thank you. We've - Suppli: tasty and soft, filling.- Meatball: yummy but not fluffy- lasagne: yummy - mussels: chubby and clean - coffee: hot - tiramisu: the best in Florida: in texture and taste The meatball is rather dead - this is in light of me comparing it to Chinese lionhead which are large and soft. Silly me. Hope they won't forget the container for the mussel shells next time. The young kid did say that he'll bring one but I'd rather use their bread plate - pretty. The bathroom - neat and handsome. But the first two stalls are messy - one has toilet tissue on the floor and the second one has a plastic cup in the toilet bowl - hey patrons, pls pick up after your self, your cleaner isn't there to do it for you. Being at one end of the chichi street, it makes parking easier.

Always a great time at Forbici, especially during their amazing happy hour from 3-6 PM daily! You can enjoy wine, beer, and food for basically $6, and cocktails for $9. I particularly loved the Super Tuscan red wine on the happy hour menu and it pairs perfectly with pizza, of course. They also offer gluten-free pizza but not for happy hour. I sat at the bar and experienced great, fast service and overall great vibes. What I ordered:- SHISHITO PEPPERS: Lemon, Sea Salt, Parmesan Ranch- PIZZA BY THE SLICE: Margherita- FUNGHI SQUARE PIZZA: Wild Mushroom, Truffle Cream, Parsley, Olive Oil

Went to Forbici a couple times this year and always had a good time but I tried some different menu items- Calamari ($17): definitely delicious but high in price for the amount/taste- Mussels ($15): staple appetizer!- Atlantic Salmon ($28): surprisingly SO GOOD. The lemon butter is prominent throughout the dish. The fish was cooked perfectly and the grains were my favorite.- Pomodoro Cavatelli ($16): Cavatelli is my favorite noodle! The sauce is very average in my opinion - Mushroom Cavatelli ($22): this is one of my favorite pasta dishes! It's so flavorful and noodles are so chewy! - Fiore square pizza ($30): very simple pizza, nothing special but the crust was crunchy and chewy!- Cup and Char square pizza ($32): my boyfriend loves this one with hot honey!I would give it 4.5 stars due to the expensive costs for the calamari and pizzas but overall a very delicious Italian dinner!

I have eaten here 4 times over the past couple of years. We went this past Saturday afternoon and had lunch. We ordered the meatballs for an appetizer, the Forbicci burger, two cocktails, and the pepperoni pizza. I would say the burger was decent and the jam was the highlight of the burger, and the fries were great. The pizza that we ordered (mind you we ordered every time we've gone there) was great as usual, but I think we were unlucky this time because it was slightly undercooked in the center, the meatballs were tasty and I would order them again, lastly the cocktails were very good and made just rite. The waitress was nice and the hostesses did their best to seat us. Ambiance was nice, modern feel, and the music was a good choice by whoever picks.

So good! One of the best Italian places I've been to in a while. Their pricing is reasonable, their pasta was homemade, the drinks were well-made too. The only downside is that it's a REALLY loud restaurant, so it can be hard to hear what's going on. We enjoyed our server (Tyler) who was really sweet and had a great experience.

Ok let's start off it's a 4.5 not a 5 but higher than a 4. It's in a trendy section of Tampa which shows people still like to go out and dress up or down. The checkin was easy and the suites very personable. Table seating is nice not overcrowded or on top of each other. As others have indicated the place is noisy inside ( they have outside seating but hen you need to deal with the vehicle noises). Our Server Eston was very good first and foremost he acknowledged our anniversary which most restaurants fail to do even though it's on the reservation. He was very helpful with suggestions for appetizers and main meal. He was on top of everything throughout the meal so kudos to him.So here's where we drop some points. We ordered the meatball appetizer (very good) and salads. I have to mention that the menu allows you to order 1/2 portions of almost all meals which is a big plus as we hardly ever finish full meals. So the bus person drops the meatballs on the table and the salad at the same time. So hot appetizer and cold salad. First issue as that's not a good way to start off. We had the meatballs first than the salad. The LaCasa salad was good but way over loaded with dressing. (Loss of point) and the caesar salad was good. The main dishes he recommended were both done well and even at half sizes we brought home leftovers (last issue we asked for Parmesan cheese for the pasta which he brought over in a small plastic cup. I expected a different execution of the cheeses but that's what it was). We were treated to a complementary dessert (sugar donut with vanilla ice cream). All in all it's a great place with great service and food.

I ordered uber eats from here to my office. I got the truffle fries and the kale salad.I was underwhelmed, maybe if I ate them fresh in restaurant it would've been better. I never had truffle fries I didn't like and these had good flavor and the aioli sauce they gave was yummy but the fries were soggy by the time I got the delivery , the kale salad was just under whelmimg like it was missing something it was kinda bland

We stopped by Forbici on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised! The happy hour (3-7) was the perfect excuse for an Aperol Spritz or two. Food-wise, the meatballs were a hit--super flavorful and satisfying. The carpaccio was decent, though not as bold in flavor as we had hoped. The Erica salad was fresh and tasty, and the wings had just the right kick of spice .We loved the patio seating--dog-friendly and with live music, it made for a beautiful day in Hyde Park. If you're looking for a laid-back spot with good vibes and a great happy hour, this is it!
