Florida Cracker Kitchen - Riverside Resort

This is our first time at this location. We'd previously been to the location in Brooksville,FL and it was a 5! This one was a little disappointing and I give it a 3. We had the chicken fingers with fries and the shrimp with fried potatoes. The food looked great! But although the quality was good all the food was bland. We had to use a lot of salt and pepper to get flavor. The restaurant was cute inside and was pretty busy. We were served promptly but once the food arrived we never saw another person. Had to go to the counter to get a box for the remaining food. We were going to pick up one of the famous cinnamon rolls but after the bland food and lack of follow up we decided against it. Maybe an off day but it may be a while before we come back to this location. Ok food... ok mood!

The Florida Cracker Kitchen is our go to breakfast place when vacationing in Homosassa, Florida. We've had just about everything on the breakfast menu and honestly you can't go wrong with any dish. Their French toast, skillet potatoes and sausage are really good. The portions are huge so if you go away hungry, it's your own fault. The wait staff are always friendly and fast. The atmosphere is Old Homosassa fishing. I love it here.

Came here for lunch with a friend.. parking is a little strange, no parking close to the Restaurant, you have to park behind on gravel..very welcoming when you come inside, there is a little gift shop with branded merchandise and more...this place is Cash only too...it is very homey feeling and a comfortable atmosphere inside. Very nice server, ordered drinks and she gave us time to look over menu..no straws with drinks since they are by the water...ordered lunch, my friend ordered a Breakfast Burrito and liked it, I ordered a Shrimp Basket and it tasted like someone dumped the whole container of salt in the batter, I had my friend try one in case I was mistaken and she agreed...no way...let the waitress know and she gladly replaced it for me, ordered. a Chicken sandwich instead, it was o.k. service was prompt and friendly, food was o.k. would make this a regular place to visit? Probably not but they have a nice variety of Breakfast items for you to choose from for a hot meal if you are in the area...

Friendly service. Quick and efficient. Huge portions! We were seated immediately outside on the patio. Our waitress came right over and took our drink orders. They have several types of mimosas. We went with cranberry. Ordered our food and amazingly it came out hot and fresh within less than 15 minutes! Everything was cooked exactly as requested, the portions were generous and it all tasted delicious! Wish we could have tried their homemade cinnamon rolls but maybe next time. Tip: they are cash only but there is an ATM onsite.

Awesome place to set and eat breakfast and enjoy the water front.Breakfast they serve is over the top with there homemade biscuits, GravyEggs, County ham and sausage.Decorated really nice with a gift shop right attached to the restaurant. If you want good pizza just across the driveway is the Monkey Bar with the pizza of your liking!

Very good food and large quantities at good prices. I got the catfish and it was good and wife and dad got burgers and they were very good. Definitely recommend plus they have a gift shop

Very cute place with a great menu. They are closed on Monday and have limited hours when open. They close at 2:30 pm. It's definitely worth a visit.This is a cash only business.

I had their FCK French Toast.The Cinnamon Roll was about the worst there is. It was hard and dry. However, It was large as advertised, but I strongly do not recommend it. The French toast was almost equally as bad. All I could taste was cinnamon. It was also very dry, I'm not sure there was any egg applied.
