This is the real deal here. The opposite of some chain restaurant. Wholesome attitude, generous portions, hearty cuisine. My family sometimes meets here because it's somewhat in between Orlando and New Port Richey. Expect a long wait but there's plenty of tables to enjoy a drink beforehand, and there are "conveniently" (ha) some small shops you can browse next door.Staff is especially friendly and down-to-earth. They are all wonderful, really. We always feel welcome and appreciated. Plus, the servers are experienced, so it's easy to respect how well they manage their work. Breakfast food is definitely a focus, but I am not so much a breakfast person, so I've tried other things besides the very well received skillets and omelets etc. Their brisket sandwich is very good. Salads are, too. Cinnamon buns are big enough to share among a few people.Cash only. Don't forget!

A small piece of heaven off the beaten trail in Brooksville, this restaurant serves breakfast and brunch with indoor and outdoor seating. Tons of choices from the usual fare to seafood and brisket and a little bit of everything else. The homemade cinnamon roll is HUGE and melt-in-the mouth delicious. The pancakes are large, the eggs perfectly made to order, and the bacon tested like it was fresh off the pig. Friendly staff even when we came in a half an hour before closing. Next door is their tavern and next to that a store with Tshirts and Knick knacks and bourbon and whiskey. A fun afternoon for everyone!

Worst experience ever!! My wife and I were sitting in the waiting area on a nice sunny day when about 20 gallons of water blew all over us from the tent behind us soaking our clothes, my service dog and destroying our phones and my wife's purse. I called 5 times to get my phone replaced and each time they said someone would call back. On the last time I called she said it was our fault for sitting there (the waiting area) and that we saw the water fall before, which was an absolute lie. I do not recommend the food, service, or restaurant at all. Do not sit in the waiting area and do not take valuables with you.

This place is just amazing! Not only is it a restaurant, there is a tap room and an awesome gift shop! The whole vibe makes you feel like you're in the mountains, which I always want to be in the mountains lol. You MUST have the cinnamon roll, it is to die for. I've never had anything so good but it is giant! The rest of the breakfast was great! Food makes you feel like you're just hanging in your grandmas kitchen. The service was great. The one thing I will say, the server didn't mention it was cash only or that we take our ticket inside to pay. Not that big of a deal since I have been there before and I already knew, but someone else may be hanging around from out of town (like my husband) and wouldn't know! Overall 10/10

Segueing off of Adam's post. I feel you. This exact same thing happened to us and they offered us a t-shirt!?!? Really a T-shirt? My phone is ruined and everyone is laughing at me but yeah, a t-shirt will somehow fix this. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. At the very least, putting a sign up would just be common sense.

Came down for vacation and asked the locals for a good spot to eat. Not sure if it's a local thing or what but this place is literally just a very typical diner with very typical diner food.

Not a terrible experience. Food was very bland and under seasoned but everyone seemed nice.

Don't go here if you're hungry. The trick is to go here when you're not hungry, that way, after you wait 2 hours to get your food, you will be hungry then. Might want to bring a drink with you too. They never even refilled mine after I asked twice.
