Flatbread & Butter

I was looking for a new place to try and stumbled upon this gem! From the moment I walked in, I loved the beautifully decorated space. It's small but has plenty of seating, including outdoor options with benches. Sitting outside was a nice touch--you're right on the main strip of Ashley Dr (closer to 275), so you can enjoy your coffee while watching the city go by. It's not something we often take the time to do, but it made for such a nice experience.The staff was super friendly and recommended the biscoff coffee since I love French vanilla flavors--and wow, it was amazing! I also ordered the salmon bagel, and it was absolutely delicious. Honestly, this is the standard all places should follow!!!!!! I stayed for about an hour and never felt rushed, which I really appreciated. Plus, they have a changing station in the bathroom, which is such a thoughtful touch for parents in the area.I'll definitely be back!

This week i decided to try out Flatbread & Butter in Tampa. I visited this charming establishment every day this week to mainly try the coffee selection. I can confidently say that it's a hidden gem well worth a visit for anyone with some spare time in the area, parking can be a bit tricky at times though. First off I decided to try the espresso on its own, and while it was okay, I found it to be slightly too acidic for my personal taste preferences.However in the latte the espresso is quite delicious highly recommend getting a latte while checking out. The next day i ordered a latte as well because i knew i already liked it, but the barista made it way too sweet that time with it resulting in me having to discard of my drink after just a few sips, but my lox bagel was on point pretty standard but tasty. On my last day checking them out i got an iced Americano and tried there matcha. I found it to be a trend in Tampa with coffee shops, offering Matcha while making it wrong and tasting terrible and F&B continues the reputation. I don't recommend ordering the Matcha mainly for its taste and it's steep price tag for such little you're getting. overall I'd give this place a 3.5 out of 5, if I was in the area, I would stop by for a latte however I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again. Personally, the price tag on the items are a bit too high for what you're getting, All the flavors of the items are quite standard so I'd rather get it close by and affordable. But I did enjoy my time checking out this local shop, all the baristas was nice and welcoming every time I came in for the most part I could tell they rather hang out and talk amongst themselves first, but they're at work so they helped me. Inside was cute, clean and never really busy. I mainly came in between 9 and 11 AM But it was always good vibes entering.

Cute and small cafe, the vibes were nice to study at. They had a nice menu with some different coffees. I ordered a matcha with rose honey, and it didn't have too much flavor, i had to ask for more. It's a cute spot but a little overpriced, i don't think i'd come back, but im glad that i checked it out. They food also looks very cute and aestheticly plated.

Great ambience to get work done or grab a drink w some friends! They had a solid food menu- didn't get to try it but they beautifully plated the ones I saw. Personally I thought it was a tad overpriced compared to the places I go, but other than that it was a sweet spot. Whoever was aux had me jamming in there lol

Wow! Literally did not expect the excellency of the coffee and food! The menu is perfect for everyone. Not too many options but something for everyone. The best coffee place I've been in a really long time.

Starting the first morning of vacation off right! Went for a walk on the riverwalk on this brisk morning and found myself enjoying a leisurely breakfast at Flatbread & Butter. I ordered the Blitzen Latte and Pico Breakfast Burrito at the recommendation of the person working there who was very friendly and helpful. The cafe was cute, minimally but tastefully decorated for the holiday.

Right in a little alley way of sorts lies one of Tampa's newest coffee shops. It would've pretty hard to spot especially considering how busy traffic gets on the street but consider yourself lucky if you find it. I had the brown butter blueberry muffin which happens to be house made , instant points for that. The flavor was perfect , fluffy texture but not cake like so it crumbled apart beautifully. The brown butter really shines through and there seems to be some kind of herbal zest to it ? I couldn't put a finger on it specifically but the muffin was very enjoyable. I'll stop by for a drink next go around

Awesome addition to Downtown in the cute little area on Tyler St! I've been to the St. Pete location and was eager to visit this new one. I had no idea how much was going in over there, from group fitness gyms and restaurants to coffee shops. Looks like a really huge benefit for the apartment complexes right there!I parked in front of the library and paid for 2 hours of parking, but I heard someone mention that there's 2 hour free nearby - just not too sure where. I ordered the Tyler Rose Latte. It was a little sweet for me, but I knew it would be and I wanted it anyways because it sounded so good! Housemade rose syrup, honey, and flowers on top. If I were to get it again, I would get it without the flowers because I didn't like accidentally drinking them and although I know they won't kill me, I didn't care for the texture lol so I scooped them out.The staff was so friendly and seemed super excited to be open. All the bites that came out looked good - especially the avocado toast. Lots of seating both indoor and outdoor. Sitting outside to work wasn't ideal for me - I could hear some beeping from inside BSF, but with headphones I wouldn't have noticed. Can't wait to come back to Flatbread and Butter!

Stopped by while waiting for my daughter to finish class at Patel Conservatory and I will be a regular customer here. Cute coffee shop, loved the music and chill vibe. My latte was perfect and the acai bowl was yummy, can't wait to try the rest of their menu!

I've been wanting to try this place! I stopped by around 2pm today after a downtown event for a cup of coffee. Even though they close at 3pm, they brewed me a fresh pot. The baristas were friendly and there was both indoor and outdoor seating. The ambiance is simplistic and clean. It would be a nice spot to study or get some work done. I'll be back to try their food offerings!
