Fitlife Foods and specifically Project U area a great way to get your nutrition on point. I've been buying Fitlife meals for months now, but it wasn't until I started with Project U that I really was able to dial in my nutrition better and reach my athletic goals. Project U is an amazing free program where you work one on one with a wellness/nutrition coach to determine your goals, measure BMR, fat and muscle mass, etc, as well as define overall nutrition/fitness goals. I compete in weightlifting so gaining strength by eating properly is key. I'm pretty well versed in nutrition, having worked with dietitians, counting macros and meal planning in the past, so I know the hard work that goes into doing that and I absolutely don't like the time consuming aspect of it. With Project U, I don't have to worry about cooking or counting macros because all of that is already done for me. Since I've been working with Project U not only have I noticed an overall gain in strength and stamina at the gym, I've achieved multiple personal records and I feel better. As part of the program you get regular check-ins with your wellness coach to objectively reassess your progress which in my case has been a great of corroborating what I already subjectively feel at the gym.

I'm a fan of Fitlife - I actually did their meal delivery service for a good year after college. I like that they have a grab-and-go option as well, however I have a small bone to pick with the prices...I'll be honest, I don't remember what I paid four years ago for the delivery but I'm 100% confident it was less than the current in-store pricing (I imagine they still discount their meal delivery option as an incentive over buying individually in store). I was in a pinch and couldn't decide on lunch in South Tampa so I decided to pick up a few meals from Fitlife. I got the pulled pork carnitas and the bison burger and the total came out to $29. I was in too deep at that point and decided to just buy them, but I was shoccckeeeddd that I was paying almost $15 each. I get it - you're paying for the convenience of a pre-cooked meal, the simple yet nutritious ingredients, healthy portion, but I was still very surprised and likely will shy away from picking up meals in store again. However, I love that they sell Brick Street Farms greens. Not sure if there's a closer retailer to me that sells them. The greens on shelf were unfortunately past their sell date, but the male staff member (I don't remember his name, SORRY!) was very helpful! I didn't notice the date and went to purchase them, but he checked and even went into the back to see if there was a replacement for me.Should I decide to go back to pre-cooked meal delivery, Fitlife would still be my #1 option.

Being epileptic isn't much fun, after all, who wants that Fit Life. This is a good store for prepackaged but dedidedly Bland Foods with zero spice, some heavy on the salt and its really about convenience and gimmick for me, as the food isn't very good. Let's be honest here. If you love it, then more power to you and enjoy it.It's a little expensive too and I'm not surprised at most 5 Star reviews either sound fake, or are from Hardcore hipsters, which is really the only demographic that would be into this, because the poor folk can't afford it, and those with diverse tastes would probably find this akin to slightly less unhealthy but similarly bland mediocre diner food.Three stars just because the person in here is nice.

FitLife Foods has been a staple of mine for healthy work food ever since I tried it at my job in St. Anthony's six years ago, and they seem to get better and better the more they expand (although they have closed alot of locations). The menu items do come and go, as they switch up their offerings depending on what's in season, but I always manage to find something I like. Some of the offerings they have dont even sound healthy, but shockingly, they are. I'm talking about their meatloaf (which they improved immensely, and I'm a sucker for their cauliflower mash) bbq beef with mac n cheese, and pumpkin cheesecake. That's right. Pumpkin. Cheesecake. So light, creamy, and rich, it actually manages to RIVAL its unhealthy full-fat counterpart. It provides a nice hearty three forkfulls (cause i may be kinda a pig, but not a slob) and finish great with black coffee. My other fave is their bbq beef mac and cheese. Tender, sweet tasting, hearty pulled bbq beef with burnt edges and creamy mac and cheese fills me up and satisfies me. This dish is so good it has me wondering what the point of a cheat day is if my normal work food is just as good if not at times better???!! They also have fresh breakfast entrees that I like to get for my Sunday "morning brunch" even though im not brunching and im going to work, but im not feeling bloated and weighed down. There's a large selection to choose from there. Love their sweet potato pancakes with bacon the most, along with their french toast and banana oatmeal bake (which is rather unique and original!). The new packaging makes the food last forever, which is a big plus, and you still get a discount for bringing clean packages to recycle. What's NOT to love???

I have a few more of their meals in the fridge and I'm hoping they're better than the bbq pork with mac n cheese meal that I just tried to eat. It was not a good cut of pork at all. It was so fatty & squishy that I had to just throw it out. Pork, in general, is a fatty meat -but this was bad even for pork.

I should've waited to review after trying the food. It's not good, the whole meal has one flavor. It's bland. I had to throw away the Salmon earlier and this General Tso's chicken i just tried to eat, tastes like months old frozen food.First and last time getting a delivery. Wanted to give this a try since I really don't have time to cook and meal prep. i spent about the same i would have at the grocery store on this delivery. In the end, i spent double, since I ended up going to the grocery store to meal prep myself. The food wasn't what i was expecting.I've cancelled my weekly deliveries. The packaging is amazing, it had ice packs in it and the cooler is awesome looking.

Fitlfe Foods offers healthy and quick meal options if you don't have time to cook or prep meals. I've tried the meals from Fitlife and they range from pretty good to not so great. Have you ever ate 3 day old fish that's been sitting in the fridge? Trust me, it's not very tasty! If you do select any of the seafood entrees I'd recommend eating them first even though the meals claim to have a 3-4 day shelf life. My favorite Fitlife items are the Peanut Butter Oat Crunch Balls and the Sriracha Cali Chicken Bowl.My husband had recently put on some weight so he decided to try the Fitlife weightloss program. I went with him during his first consultation at the South Dale Mabry location and we met with his wellness coach, Brittany Booterbaugh. During the consultation we discussed his eating habits and Brittany took my husband's health vitals and gave him a bioimpedance analysis. After collecting some basic data (height, weight, body fay %) she determined the calories that my husband needed to eat in order to lose weight. My husband always has time for breakfast so it was decided that my husband was only going to purchase the lunch and dinner Fitlife meals as well as the Fitlife snacks. Typical weightloss during the 21 day plan is a weightloss of 5-15 lbs. Since my husband is a heavier guy we figured he may lose as much as 20 lbs. in the next 30 days. The meals aren't cheap. My husband mostly purchased the large lunch and dinner entrees that ranged from $10 - $13. The snacks were $5 - $6. I really didn't see the value in the snacks since I could have made similar snacks for a fraction of the price. While I was annoyed at the amount of money that my husband was wasting on these meals I do admit that the meals gave me new ideas of different meals to prepare at home. After seven weeks my husband is $1,000 poorer and 4 lbs. heavier. Needless to say, we were really disappointed! My belief is that unless you were eating fast food or junk food or drinking large amounts of beer or cocktails prior to eating the Fitlife meals you will not see a drastic weight change. Even though my husband is a big guy he doesn't drink soda or eat fast food. I cook healthy meals often, but my husband usually takes seconds or thirds and he doesn't exercise enough. I think my husband thought he could lose weight just by cutting out calories from his diet, but unfortunately it was not that simple. The two of us have tried every diet in the book and we tend to see the best weight loss results when we eliminate carbs (flour, sugar, rice, bread) from our diets. I noticed that the Fitlife meals contained more carbs and sodium than we typically consume so it isn't a surprise that my husband gained weight from the Fitlife meals. If you are looking for a quick and healthy meal Fitlife is a great option. If you are for a weight loss solution this may not be the best option for you.

Yeap, 3 stars!Pros: they have bunch of entrees to choose from. Everything looks delicious. Always clean and organized. My favorite: Miso salmon.Cons: None of the meal packages have description. Not sure what I am getting unless I ask the sales person what's in them. I had something different today, chicken gyro. Not a big fan, too much oregano. Can't taste anything else.Guess I'll be sticking to my favorite Miso salmon.
