First Quality Sausage House

The sausage house is one of the kind in Tampa Bay Area. Their specialty includes Hungarian, German and Polish sausage. Base on their introduction, I think they are Hungarian more. Their store is located in the Safety Harbor next to the park. The best seller is their specialty smoke sausage. It come with non spicy and spicy. We got a link. It was delicious. We also got blood tongue and head cheek slice ham. I recommend the spicy head cheek ham. We also got some veal loaf and special fried bacon. The cold cut we got good for champagne and wine. If you happen to have picnic, you get some cold cut here.

We struggle to find a decent Andouille around here. Getting the usual suspects from the grocery store is extremely average. We do a lot of Cajun cooking. Having the right Andouille is important for gumbo and jambalaya. I knew we had a sausage maker in town, actually only a 18 minute walk from my house. I stopped in to get some. The sausage they sell here is simply spicy sausage with 3 different heat levels. If you ask for Andouille , they may not understand. I chose the medium. Cooked a piece up to see how good it would be. We have a winner ! It will grease enough for the roux , the flavor is very good. It's not 100% what you'd get from New Orleans , but it's a million times better than your supermarket variety.

Ever since I tasted their sausages in a friend's Oktoberfest party, I have always wanted to visit this place. Finally, we made the trip. This is such a unique, one-of-a-kind shop. Owner was so friendly, he let us try a piece and then we decided how much to buy. We like spicy food. So, we got almost a pound of the spicy cold cut. And then we saw blood and tongue cold cut. That was the item we had when traveled in Germany and never saw anybody sell it here in Tampa Bay till this visit. I felt like finding a treasure. So we got some of them. The fry bacon was also good. Got a smoke spicy sausage and veal load. I kept the cool cut, sausage in the fridge as a late-night snack, or make them a sandwich. They were so delicious. They reminded me the good time when traveling Europe. I'm glad we can buy them in Safety Harbor instead of flying over the Atlantic Ocean. This shop is truly a hidden gem.

My bf found this place online and we had been trying to make it there and we finally got to go this week. They were super friendly and helpful. The sausages and pastry was really good! Next door is their daughter's store also super cute! Their hours are a lil out of norm and they're not on the main st. But it is definitely worth the special trip!

This is a Hungarian based shop. Excellent place to purchase Hungarian made foods. Excellent paprikas, fried bacon, and many other prepared foods. Open Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. You would not be disappointed by anything purchased from this store. Their cabbage rolls are to die for. Can't say enough about this store.

Local gem!! I wish I had found this German sausage house earlier...it appears to be family run with what I assume are recipes passed down from generation to generation. I took home each type of fresh sausage and all three were fantastic- the fried bacon stole the show though...it sells out fast, but I think you can cal and reserve it. They also sell hot meals, I haven't tried any, but they look amazing!

I stopped by today while in the neighborhood and I am glad I did. This is a small mom and pop style Hungarian butcher shop. It looks like they produce a majority of the meat products in house. They have a nice selection of fresh sausage, smoked sausage, liver sausage, lunch meats, and smoked pork. I tried a few of their fresh and smoked sausages and couldn't be happier. The lady that helped me was very friendly. I will definitely be back again soon.

High quality genuine Hungarian food served with genuine friendliness. Very highly recommended!

Absolutely impressed. I have been looking for REAL Hungarian Kolbasz and Szalami for years. This is as authentic as it gets. The makos Beigli was amazing!So happy I found this business!
