Fatty's Fish Shack

Great happy hour and service. Nice spot to get some appetizers and listen to live music. We had the oysters, fish dip, fried clam strips, pretzel and the cocktails shrimp and a few drinks. All were good, especially for the HH price.

We had the Smoked Salmon appetizer and I had the Mahi sandwich. Both were delicious. We've been here a lot and they often have excellent music. Parking is pretty easy in this neighborhood as well. There's a lot of typical bar food on the menu but I would appreciate a better salad selection and more info on brews they serve.

Ordered fresh oysters and calamari. The calamari was good but a VERY small portion for the price. The oysters were not good. We ordered the black point and blue point oysters. They tasted fishy and definitely did not taste fresh. The service was very slow. I think there was only one waitress. This review got stars because the outside tiki area is nice.

Cool vibe. They have seats inside and out with the outside covered and ample fans to keep it cool. We decided to try on a Tuesday afternoon and the service was quick with the food coming out hot and fresh. We tried the grouper nuggets and the chicken quesadillas. Good bar type food not super but not bad. Will try again and maybe we won't be so hungry that we can take a pic of the food.

Everyone enjoyed the food, and service was friendly and quick.However...One of the servers was inappropriately dressed to serve food in any restaurant. I lost my appetite halfway through my meal.She was dressed poorly and had a habit of leaning on a table when talking to patrons, it was revolting.Not going back.

Visited in April while the fair was going on next door. Lived the live music. Patrons and bartenders were friendly. Awesome happy hour. Tasty food. Definitely will be back. Oh and hypnotiq freeze pops for a few dollars Happy hour after 10 had $5 margaritas, $5 wells, $5 cheeseburger (yummy), oysters, wings (tasty) and clam strips. Live music every night. How cool is that :)Oh and they sell t shirts for $20. I got moister than an oyster and my bf got go shuck yourself.

Stopped in around 2:30, starving from hurricane cleanup. Sat at the bar. Fans are very helpful in the outdoor area. Huge menu. Lots of lunch specials. Fish and chips and the hogfish sandwich with fries. Delicious! Staff were super friendly. Lots of free parking available.

Not a foodie paradise but extremely well done executed menu an great FLorida draft beer menu.Grouper bites were crisp on outside, juicy on the side- just like you want them. Calamari equally perfect. Fish tacos are great and the bison burger cooked to perfect rare order.Rest of the fish items on menu look great.

Visiting from out of town and decided to give Fatty's a try. Clam chowder and cod sandwich were both nice and hot and very good. If I am ever back in the area I will be stopping in again.

We only discovered this place less than 2 weeks ago. We have ordered 4 times & loved everything! I kept eyeing that pretzel but thought it can't be worth $12.50. Well, I decided to try it anyways. It was amazing! The queso is also delicious. The pretzel is crispy on the outside & soft & hot inside. It also came I it's own pan! Then the crab cake sandwiches are fresh, hot & seasoned perfectly. The fries are even excellent & seasoned well. I can't praise them enough. If you like seafood, give them a try. If not, order a pretzel & you won't go hungry.
