Once again I return to the scene of a great breakfast in Lakeland.I just had a one start experience at the Waffle House down the street. After being ignored for ten minutes, I went here for a total opposite experience.I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted and the nice lady asked 'what'll you be drinking'.Wow, what a difference!I had 2 eggs over easy, grits and whole wheat toast.Just what I need before a round of golf.

Staff and service! No comparison! The menu provides huge variety - be it brunch or lunch! Feel like family!

It's excellent for All Day Breakfast,The Best Sandwich's All Boar Head Sandwich Meet ,Every night there's a dinner special you can't beat the price.

Started working in Lakeland in November of 1987 I don't even know how many times I have been to Fat Jack's they have great food, good prices and it feels like home there. They have very good servers, inside is nothing fancy, just like home. Always good food.

My husband and I have been eating here every Tuesday for the last few months and we absolutely love it. They have great dinner specials and the food is so delicious. The staff is very friendly and we love the casual restaurant environment. We recently went here for breakfast for the first time and it was so good too. If you're looking for good home cooking and the best food in town, this is the place!

Always a favorite breakfast stop in Lakeland! We ordered two eggs, corn beef hash, biscuits and wheat toast with lots of coffee! Everything you order, will be delicious and very affordable! Our favorite employee, Tammy, was behind the counter and as usual, treated us like family. Far Jack's never disappoints!

Basic diner fare done cheapSome days you just want some eggs or some basic breakfast fare. This place is the quintessence diner, with the basic food you enjoy done right. It's not going to win awards, nor offer you great bites. But it will be good, and it's fairly cheap.Come here if your hotel breakfast sucks and you need something simple to get you going. It's not pretty, but it works

If you're visiting Lakeland Florida, you really gotta try Fat Jack's! Great sandwiches, great food, and a great old atmosphere; yet the food is fresh as ever! Your food is usually delivered in about 10 to 15 minutes, surprisingly fast yet quality is still there! Breakfast or lunch.This is half of my sandwich left and still looks pretty delicious!

Holy crap! This hole in the wall is amazing! Loved my biscuits and gravy! The portions were generous too! Service was like your home town friends!

My husband had the grilled fish, coleslaw, fries, turnip greens and hush puppies. I had the Reuben with fries and our girls had the grilled cheese and Mac and cheese. The food!!! The food was phenomenal!. Danica our waitress was an absolute gem! If you ever want a great meal with amazing service you should give Fat Jacks a try!
