Expo Restaurant

I went wanting some Greek food but had to try the special. Corn beef and cabbage with onions, carrots and potatoes. Came with soup or salad and pudding for dessert. Really, really surprised at how good it was and how much I got. My tea glass never needed refills as the waitress came as soon as I drank about half. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Quick accurate service and everyone was so friendly. Did I mention that the special was only $8.95?? I'll definitely get back as soon as I can.

Time marches on, but Expo is unfazed. In dire need of repairs, proper lighting and a little bit more give-a-shit in regards to food costs, The Expo is one of those places that just gets by based on location. For probably a 2 mile radius, this is it. Along a forgotten stretch of Hercules in Clearwater that's peppered with mechanic shops and industrial buildings, The Expo is the only place to get some grub. Cheap food made with cheap ingredients which is served by friendly staff is what one can expect here. I had the Expo omelet, which had it not been for those rubbery, tasteless canned mushrooms would have been a chin hair above average. Melted provolone, shredded steak, peppers and onions weren't enough to keep me from picking those things out of the mix. They're inexcusable. The omelet was large though. Between that and the hefty portion of homefries, I was only able to woof down about half of my plate. All-in-all, not a horrible experience. Just not the best.

Went by today and they are out of business. This was a regular stop for breakfast over the years and the new owner definite tried to make it work but couldn't.

Step back in time and feel the anticipation of the opportunity to experience something diner delicious. Then the food came and it was tasteless bacon :/ but crisp:)Low quality tasting coffee :/ but not weak:)Pancake batter flavor tastes like Bob Evans and you know.. It's a shared batter flavor not like you mixed flour eggs, sugar baking powder milk and butter together and made your own. The eggs and hash browns were perfectly prepared tho and our waitress was right on time so... It's one star because that was the average concensus at the table but its general perception is really more like the three it had before this post.

Had a great breakfast here the other day. Eggs, home fries, bacon , all perfectly done. Fast and friendly service.Have tried other things here before as well, steak hoagies, pitas, everything is always done well and served fast. Chicken sandwiches come out with more chicken then bun.'A small perfect place for a quick meal.

This is a great local place for breakfast or lunch.I mostly like it for breakfast -- good traditional breakfast fare -- eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, pancakes, french toast, waffles, omelets, etc.Nothing special here, just good food and good service. Seems to be mostly frequented by regulars.

This was my second time at this establishment and it was great to see that the server we had this first time we visited last year was still there. She is a very attentive individual to the needs of her customers. Breakfast was great and I am not a breakfast type person. The depressing part of this trip was listening to the owner/cashier bagging on people. I am quite sure that on my next vacation to Florida this establishment will be part of the eating routine.

This restaurant is bike riding distance from my home, so I was excited to taste it out. I wish I could say it was good, but the entire EXPO experience was not. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left it was a cold shoulder feeling. The waitress(es) looked angry and after telling her/them this was my first time here I received no recommendation regarding what was tasty on the menu. The food looked as unappealing as it tasted as well as the old, dusty decor surroundings. I don't have any restaurants that are close to my home besides McDonald's, so I was very disappointed because I would love a nice place to occasionally dine at and EXPO is not the one!

Great food, great service and great prices! They have the best coffee in town. The staff is super friendly and they have been there forever! Highly recommend this place!

The food here is amazing and the customer service is even better. Every time I come in I leave with a smile.
