Food was delicious. Service was good too. Ambiance was ok. We were surprised because is hard to tell the restaurant is the plaza.

Good food, fast. I really like the sweet and sour chicken combo.Shrimp fried rice and teriyaki beef are a good choice as well.

The lunch special which ends at 3:30, even in Saturday's, give you a choice of meat/veggie meal with pork fried rice a soup or soda for basically $7. Totally worth it!!The pineapple chicken is soooo delicious . That sweetness is the perfect mix. The orange chicken is my girl's favorite. Fast, quick and delicious.

Chinese food is generally cheap to make and good on the profit margin. I found Evergreen and surprisingly, the food quality was better than any other that I have had, in the area.First time Chinese locations, I always give them a test-Crab Rangoon, Shrimp Fried Rice, and Pepper Steak. The rangoon shell was perfect golden brown and molten globs of creamy goodness inside. The fried rice had more shrimp than I could eat in a single sitting, and the pepper steak was tender, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I'm a trained chef and its good to sample the work of others. I could not have done better, myself.

Good food, quick service! Haven't had anything I didn't like yet. Prices are reasonable too and big portions!

I've been buying food from Evergreen here since 2014-2015. The food has always been delicious and pretty affordable. I stopped coming here for years due to a horrible experience I had with an associate (a white women with very short hair who also did delivery). We recently moved back to the area and I decided to give this place another try. The quality of the food is still amazing and fairly affordable. However, I've had 2 experiences here that hasn't sat right with me. I got our typical order and placed it via BeyondMenu before closing at 8:29PM. I got the House Lo Mein, Chicken Wings, Cream Cheese Wontons, and mixed veggies with white rice.When I got home, the mixed vegetables had a very bitter taste as if it was out for a long time. We did not eat it. On the website and physical menu, the chicken wings are advertised as $6.25 for *5* wings. We only received 4. The lo mein was dry which isn't typical. It was late and our son needed to eat so we ate the wings and lo mein and I made a note to call in the afternoon. I called and was told that I could either get it replaced or refunded. I got there and told the associate about how I only received 4 wings instead of 5. She informed me that if the wings are big they only give you 4, not 5. And due to the cost of chicken wings increasing, they change the count on a case by case basis. I told her that the wings weren't big by any means and regardless if they were, your menu says that I get 5 for that cost, not 4. If that is the case, the menu needs to reflect that. She told me there's absolutely nothing that she can do for me because she wasn't there the previous night.It truly did frustrate me because they are not being transparent with their customers and expect us to be okay with a change like that without disclosing it. We received 2 flats and 2 small drumsticks. There wasn't anything significant change in the size of the wings that we typically get. I understand that it's just 1 wing, however, the principal is important. Being open and transparent with your customers about changes.The food is good and we probably will continue to get food from Evergreen until we move because the quality of Chinese food in Polk isn't as good as it is in Baltimore. If you decide to get food here please double check your food and make sure you're getting what you're being charged for.

There food taste good but I ask every time to lightly fry my wontons and spring rolls and they don't listen every time so I'm unable to eat my food

I have ordered takeout from here several times and it's beenndelicious every time. I HIGHLY recommend the wontons in spicy szechuan sauce and the dumplings in garlic sauce. I get both every time I go. They are always PHENOMENAL. The chicken teriyaki strips and the soups are also excellent as are the pan-fried noodle dishes, lo mein and Singapore Chow Mei Fun.Everything I've had here has been consistently GREAT!The restaurant is easy to get to... Its in a strip mall by a Publix whuch is very convenient.It's not the closest Chinese takeout to my house but it is BY FAR the best!

Service & food best in Winter Haven!!! Only wish they had a wider delivery range now that I have moved.

Excellent Chinese food. Take out or delivery only. We had a special order due to allergy to mushrooms and shrimp. The handling of that request was perfect and did. Not compromise the order at all. The only knock is that the pork spare ribs were tough and did not fall off the bone as it should. Everything else was A+ including fried rice, spicy mei fun and Chinese mixed vegetables. This is our go to for Chinese take out in spite of the 25 minute drive.
