Emily's Family Restaurant

I took my mom to the periodontist down the street from Emily's. The menu is extensive. They serve breakfast all day long. Their soup of the day was Avgolemono. It was flavorful and came out right away. The Chicken Shwarma wasn't like the kind I've had before. The red onions didn't seem to fit. The ambiance is like a mom-and-pop fitted diner. The service was quick but what was unsettling was the busers coming around to tables while you eat. It was too much and too often. Also, I was seated in the back with my back to the door. I could see everything going on in the kitchen. I didn't enjoy the show while eating the sandwich. The best part of the meal was the soup!

I'm a bit disappointed in Emily's after my recent visit. I understand inflation but now it just feels like they are nickel and diming you while also buying prepackaged foods which negates the reason to go to a place like this for breakfast. A mom and pop greasy spoon. You cannot charge nearly the same amount of money as some of these much better restaurants like a broken egg and not have the food up to that same par. It just doesn't work.Hollandaise from a jar? No just no.$4 for one glass of milk??? Is somebody high? I can get a whole gallon for that. As a business owner myself, was that price point really necessary? $3 for watered down coffee? Charging extra for cheese in an omelette! What? Cheese is a main ingredient in all omelets. And that's on top of the prices going up almost double in the last couple of years. The entire vibe of why I liked coming here is gone. At these prices I will go elsewhere for better food.

Most of the food is premade and it shows when it comes to taste and quality. One up side to this is fast service.

Friendly, local diner with good food, a nice town vibe and a good option for your breakfast or lunch needs while in the area.

This is a mom and pop breakfast/lunch diner on Alt 19.in Palm Harbor. I went because my husband really wanted to go here. He's had an excellent breakfast sandwich from here and is a big breakfast person. I am not Anyway, I love corned beef hash so I decided to get the Texas Omelette and a side of salsa (which by the way is 2.29 but I can't eat eggs without salsa.) The omelette was fine. The home fries were way under done.The breakfast lover got the two egg special. He always asks for under done scrambled eggs andover done potatoes. Neither came out that way but when asked if he wanted them to remake the eggs he said no. We don't like sending food back or asking for stuff to be remade. Overall this is a decent diner. I prefer another one in our area more so we will probably not be adding this to the rotation.

This is a solid breakfast place. The consistency is there but it doesn't seem like anything is homemade. The hollandaise is not fresh but it was okay. I did like the BLT Benedict with the lettuce and tomato as it cut the richness of the hollandaise. Overall good!

Don't pass on Emily's! My husband and I just purchased a home in Ozona, and I was searching for local breakfast places. What a great place! Excellent service, friendly atmosphere, and the food is excellent. I had a chicken sandwich from the lunch menu, while my husband had an omelet. Both of us left feeling like we will become regulars.

My family and I stopped in for breakfast this morning. The staff here either don't welcome non locals or children. After getting drinks they ignored our presence until we got up and left. They reserve the right to refuse service, didn't know they'd do it like this without a word being said except for us politely placing our drink orders.

Emily's Family RestaurantLove this Family owned and Operated Breakfast/Lunch Resturant in Palm harbor. Food Delicious and Staff Very friendly.The Quiches, for which I will comment on today, are wonderful served with one side and a speciality bread. Today it came with pineapple bread! Quiche variety can vary to be Greek, Lorraine or Broccoli, Chicken and Cheese which is what I have today.My opinion is, you will not be disappointed!

Great breakfastHash browns are excellent!!Eggs cooked perfect. Good service and clean!
