The place has the typical international speciality store vibe that you see with Asian, Indian or Mexican grocery stores, a lot products pack into a tight space. I did notice carry variety Cuban, Puerto Rican and some Mexican products.We came specifically for there lunch counter type prepared food. We order 2 plates, which came with carnitas, Spanish type rice and fried plantains. The carnitas was good, refried so it had crispy bits but the rice had no flavor and plantains were a bit over cooked. Not my favorite but it wasn't terrible either.

Always get pernil and moro for Christmas Eve. Awesome food! Great portions and a great price

First visit yesterday. The people were very nice and helpful when I asked if they had cotija cheese. The store is clean and well stocked. It has a deli section with lots of meat. The people were the best part of my visit.

Typical Latin bodega. Really good prepared foods by the back behind the counter. $5 dollars gets you a large amount of food, pretty much whatever they can stuff in the styrofoam box.

Second time here, first time was great, the chicken this time,,,was a 10. $2.50, for a meal that tastes that good (see photos).And the food is held on a cafeteria type line. Buy what you want by the pound. Not sure how they keep the flavor so great, maybe they turn so much product, it stays fresh. Whatever the case, give them a try.

Very poor attention from the manager treats clients very badly when they complain about something that is not right

You can expect lousy service and terrible attitude when you come here. I leave empty handed and disappointed most times. Terrible servicio y attitude - Nunca tienen nada

Excellent mom and pop grocery with a cafeteria style to go food service. The food here is AWESOME and the portions are plentiful. The people are very nice and helpful. The grocery portion carries a lot of items you won't find at Publix or Walmart and is definitely worth going in just to browse the isles for interesting food. Take a meal home for later in a to go box - it's delicious home cooked Spanish cuisine.

Not wanting to cook today I selected to have take-out food from this restaurant​.I selected yellow rice with beef stew, plantains as my meal. I also purchased some pork​.The yellow rice was a bit salty for me--and they really give you a lot of it. I would think if I truly measured it was 2 cups.The beef was tender in the stew with potatoes and had a thick brown sauce. It was hard to find the actual​ beef.The plantains had their​ natural sweetness.I also selected some of the pork and it was juicy and flavorful. There was a person behind the counter who would help me understand​ what was the dish was called. I almost purchased something that I thought was soup--in reality,​ it was tripe in some type of liquid.

Well the food is so so it's not completely terrible but it's not great either. The one thing that I did not like about this place is if you don't speak their language they are very rude to you I am from a Latin dissent but I was born and raised here I don't speak fluent Spanish or Puerto Rican or Cuban however I do very much understand and yes if you act like you don't speak it they will talk about you in your face however if you answer them in Spanish they will stand there and look a little stupid needless to say I will not be going back to this place.
