El Señor De Los Tacos

Inside the gas station, there is this really good Mexican food. At the time we were there ( 2:30pm on a Monday) 4 hard working ladies pumping out delicious food. We had Birria taco plate ( three huge tacos w/ amazing consommé) and a huge steak torta. They have a four seat counter to eat at. They have 4 places. The one on Gunn hwy is actual restaurant with tables. We will be back.

Do not eat here. We got steak tacos, birria tacos and quesabirria tacos. Absolutely NO flavor. The steak was hard and chewy. Do not waste your money.

I had noticed a new taco stand being advertised in a gas station that is a couple of blocks down the road, and thought I would try them... since we would love to have a good taco stand in our area.El Senor De Los Tacos - nice menu (I should have taken a picture and didnt!)Tacos, tamales, and a number of other Mexican / Latin items... including refried beans and Mexican rice.I only tried the tacos. I had read some reviews on Facebook (they have a page there)... that said the tacos are good, but a little small. But they are also only $1.50 each.Ordered the following tacos:Al Pastor - (good, but no pineapple noted... maybe you have to ask for it?)Steak - (meh... nothing special)Chorizo - (ok... but needs more spice)Carnitas (best yet... very tasty, but pretty fatty - which I love, but not everyone does)plenty of Cilantro, lime, onions, and a delicious charred pepper to go with it. Sauces:Green... mild and ok Red.. spicier and a nice flavorOrange - smelled like pureed habaneros, and MUY MUY CALIENTE! Too hot for me... lol... although in small touches, it added some great heat.They were served on doubled 5" corn tortillas... and a smaller portion of meat than I like. some of the competition is more generous with the filliings... but are also more expensive. So take your pick! :)But they are close, staff is friendly... and they are ok. So I will definitely eat here again.

Now they serve quesatacos & I was not disappointed! Just FYI - one order of birria quesatacos bring 3 very large tacos with the consome.

Very generous with the meat portions on the tacos, yummy salsa, and the birria was delicious!

Excellent food & service. Enjoyed a breakfast taco while we waited for our catering order for 80 people to be ready. Catering order was accurate, on time & delicious.

BEST gas station tacos!!I highly recommend the tacos, Quesa-birria, and corn elotes!They have an awesome lunch special too. The food here is so addictive but the lunch rush can be torture-so call ahead!I had one bad experience after I'd ordered ahead, and they completely ignored me for about an hour. (Linebaugh location)The younger lady who only speaks Spanish snapped at me, rolled her eyes at me, and ALWAYS forgets my green sauce even though she says it's in the bag. They were so busy they gave me the lunch special tacos with NO tortillas!! When I called to tell them, she just rudely hung up on me!This was the last time I ate there after being a regular for a year.

First thing. The tacos here are great! But I've had the last 2 experiences horrible. I don't like corn tacos. Precious's order on the app they gave me corn when I ordered flour. Tonight I ordered again and it was corn again. I checked, told the counter, then has them redo it but it was corn again. I told her it was corn again bc it's 2 shells and flou is only one. She assured me it was flour. In the car I saw it was corn and left and there then away AP avoid confrontation. The tacos are great but the customer service is horrible. I won't eat at this location on Gunn again. They don't care

Authentic Mexican food is my favorite ethnic food. I have lived in Tampa since 2009 and haven't really found the right Mexican food spot until now. This place is fantastic. The food is solid from their tortas, to their tacos, and their Malates are amazing. The food here is so good I am on a mission to try everything. Don't waste your time if your looking for Mexican food. This is your place.

Out of all the Birria tacos in the whole Tampa area this has the best quesibirria. The the consome is on point and very flavorful.
