El Rodeo Mexican Bar & Grill

We were craving Mexican Food and Yelp brought us to El Rodeo. The service and food were excellent. Margaritas were very good as well. Wife had shrimp tacos and I had steak fajita quesadillas. Both were full of flavor. The salsa was very fresh.

The best Mexican in south county, been here a number of times and it always great , small ( 50-60 people max) beautifully decorated in a traditional Mexican decor. Complimentary chips and salsa are very good . I had the California steak burrito which is HUGE - large tortillo stuffed with tender steak,rice , sautéed peppers & onions covered in a light creamy queso sauce - excellent , wife had the chicken salad which very good also. Service was fast, friendly and welcoming - we will be back

Reopened under a new name, same family and chefs and menu choices. Service is good but slows when they get busy. Food is served fresh and hot though the chili rellano was a tad bit mushy rather than crunchy.The pineapple fajita was a unique dish, though opt for less cheese on top and leave it on the side.The decor is the same fancy tables and chairs that we were used to under the old name.

It's nice to see the El Rodeo chain out here in Sun City. The area is filled with Mom & Pop Mexican Restaurants....which is not a bad thing, but occasionally I like the fully decorated Mexican theme which is El Rodeo's trademark. This establishment has been open 8 months, and still no Yelp page! Plus, no customers...Could there be a connection? Yelp page added, hopefully customers will follow!I ordered the Shrimp Ceviche Michoacáno ($16.99) to go. Check out the photo! The presentation was excellent even in a carry out container. Plenty of bits of shrimp, pico de gallo, crackers, and avocado. Only 2 thin slices of lime. Still was delicious. Solid 4 stars.

I literally ordered a taco salad on DoorDash, and it came all smashed into the box all burnt, and nasty. I will never ever order from here again.

To me consistency is paramount to restaurant quality. The first time we went to this restaurant our experience was simply outstanding. Service was awesome, the young lady that waited on us was friendly and timely.The food was very good , and the atmosphere was inviting.We paid them another visit and we were not disappointed. Again the service and food were exemplary, this time I tried the flan and was pleasantly surprise by how tasty it was This will be our goto whenever we visit Florida

We went back to this restaurant for the second time, and the food and staff were as fabulous as they were the first time we went. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Mexican cuisine!

Great food, nice cozy atmosphere. Fast service. Love the detail on the tables and chairs. Nice for a quick authentic meal!

If you would like to expand your experience with Mexican food beyond the usual fare, then this is the place. The food is excellent, the decor is real Mexico, and the service is fast and friendly. I had the chile colorado, which is a beef stew where the sauce is made from dried Mexican peppers. It is a little hot and somewhat spicy, but has delicious flavors which I imagine most people have never tasted. It was excellent. The menu has many items I have never had, and I will be back to try them (if I don't get the chile colorado again). The flautas were also good, as were the accompanying beans, rice and tortillas. I thought the chips and salsa were unusually good as well.If you really want to try authentic Mexican dishes, this is the place.

The service is great. This is a great place for Mexican food. The chips and salsa are very tasty. We had fajitas and they were very good. Love this quaint little place.
