a plate of mexican food

Ok Mexican food. Not too heavy on the lard. Skip the guacamole, the enchilada sauce saved the day. I should have asked for it on my huevos rancheros because the ranchero sauce seemed canned. The price made it all bearable as it was inexpensive. The place was Mexican style in decor and probably gets too small when it is hopping, but that is what makes such places fun.

Food is OK nothing special. Wish they would fix up the inside old as dirt. Booth seating broken just spruce up the place so dark n dismal inside. There's other Mexican restaurants a drive away that are worth the time n distance.

Since the business split a few years back into Pancho's Villa and Los Chicos, each restaurant has taken on a style all their own. I prefer Pancho's! I have always gotten the tacos, which are out of this world. The steak and chicken are marinated perfectly and the toppings are fresh and flavorful. The gourmet taco menu is very creative and not one choice is a bad one. The chips and salsa are amazing and the fried ice cream is incredible. I eat here maybe once a week.
