Egg Haven Cafe

Stopped by after the gym for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the complete breakfast menu and the food and coffee was outstanding. Weekend line but got seated in 5 minutes and this restaurant feels like homemade, very friendly and not expensive. Being from California where mediocre breakfast joints are packed on weekends, this was the perfect breakfast solution...

$84 for myself dad and my daughter for breakfast! No booze. $7.99 OJ. $4.99 for small OJ. No kids menu. Place is rip off.

We made a last-minute stop for breakfast before heading back home to Fort Myers, and I must say the place was packed, BUT we sat right away! The food was quite good. The service was outstanding despite how busy it was. The only downside was the condition of the restaurant outside. I say that not knowing how affected they were by the recent hurricanes as it looked like they may be doing some construction too. I hope they spruce it up outside.

Depending on the day you go, you can have a very different experience. All of course, are still delicious. The weekends are crazy as the secret is out about this place. Even with 20 people waiting outside the weight did not extend past 15 minutes, which was pretty impressive. The staff is fantastic. Several Albanian servers and a New Yorker make for a delightful mix of servers. The food is fast and plentiful. Prices are reasonable. Just beware that a glass of fresh orange juice is 8 dollars. Plenty of parking makes it an easy choice for breakfast or lunch.

Took my elderly father out to breakfast this morning and decided to try the Egg Haven Cafe. Breakfast staples at moderate prices. Food was good. The young hostess who sat us also took our drink order. We ordered coffee and an OJ, which she delivered to us. When we got the check we were surprised to see an $8 (plus tax) glass of juice. Many seniors are on a limited budget but still trying to support local businesses. I really didn't appreciate this upselling. If she'd asked if he wanted that then that would be a different story. With tip, our meal was nearly $40 for two eggs and french toast, juice and coffee. There are too many local breakfast places that cater to seniors to return to one that doesn't.

We came there on a Sunday morning with 20 baseball players/parents. We had a short wait but boy! It was worth it! From the manager to the waitress.. they were so nice! The manager even was joking about not having food! lol the waitress seemingly got all the orders and we were in and out in less than an hour! Food was delicious! This will be our go to place when we return for sure! Highly highly recommend Egg Haven Cafe!

This place was awesome. The restaurant was clean and their seats. Look brand new like they just redid them. The orange juice was fresh squeezed. It was so yummy. The steak and eggs and potatoes were tasty. The steak was flavorful even though mine was a bit overcooked. It still was tender. I still could eat it. The eggs were good, I had to server it was her first day she did extremely well. When I'm in the area, this will be my breakfast go to spot.

Good solid diner food with that old iHop vibe. Clean and cute (just a bit untidy) when we arrived late on a Saturday after what I'm sure was a busy morning. I had the Hash Stack and it was really good despite the odd choice of using Italian sausage instead of breakfast sausage. Not sure if this was by design or if someone just grabbed the wrong sausage crumbles. It was fine for me but for someone like my husband who doesn't care for the "fennel-ness" of Italian sausage it would have been a deal breaker. Hubby had the Meat Lovers Omelet and all of the things (including my cinnamon French toast) with a side of gravy (which BTW is made from breakfast sausage??!). All were delicious. Service was fast and friendly. We aren't down this way often but would definitely return!

A friend recommended this place to me so I decided to give it a try! I love breakfast so I had high hopes. Ordered a the veggie omelet and wasn't disappointed! Omelet was so big I couldn't even finish it! Absolutely delicious! I'll be back very soon!
