East Bay Country Club Special Events

Attended a wedding recently at this venue. Just the ceremony was hold outdoors while the reception was elsewhere. Great outdoor space, lush green grass, palm trees, and water surrounding a gazebo. The gazebo is raised, 6 steps up on a platform. Unfortunately due the weather the original gazebo was destroyed and there was just a temporary one placed. Not as pretty for photos but still kept the sun off of the newlyweds. From the left side, mostly hidden by palm trees, there is an exposed area under the platform with random concrete and trellis. Overall a nice outdoor space for a wedding.

My husband and I had our wedding reception here in June of 2011. They have multiple rooms but we had the big main room. We had about 200 guests (but it can hold more). Nice size dance floor so no one felt over crowded. Had a little stage in the corner for the DJ. Already comes with all the cool lights for the dance floor. Full bar which you can opt to have as an open bar or cash bar. They cater the dinner but you can still bring in your own food for appetizers, (we had a chocolate fountain). The main meals were good. We have chicken cordon blue and prime rib with all the sides. Beautiful view from the gazebo and outside overlooking the lake. Made for some great pictures.It was a great wedding and the owner is super nice. My only complaint is the clean up staff either stole to eat or threw away my wedding cake!! It was a 4 tier cake and there was about 1/2 left, including the top layer that I wanted to save and freeze for my one year anniversary. But I went back to get it and the entire cake was gone! I think the staff ate it in the back but what a waste! I can't believe they stole my cake.

Shannon and her amazing staff went above and beyond! Their willingness to work with us for our daughter's wedding was incomparable. They handled everything with such grace that it made it very easy for us to turn over our control to them and for them to supply us with a truly magical event!

This place was wonderful to work for our wedding reception. It is simple, they set up and tear down and work around your schedule to try and help.

Shannon and Tim did an amazing job ! for my wife and I , any questions we had Shannon answered and was always happy to answer any questions, Tim was an amazing DJ . all of our guests we were very pleased and happy with the reception. the food and service was excellent, do not hesitate to hire Shannon or Tim they do an amazing job and go above and beyond. thank you again so much Shannon and Tim

We had our wedding and reception here and it was wonderful. Shannon and John were exceptionally easy to work with and made the day very special for us. The gazebo was picturesque and the reception hall was decorated beautifully. Our guests had nothing but compliments for the staff and the location. We looked at several locations and this was one of the preferred from the start and was very reasonable with regards to available packages and pricing. Have recommended it to several people for weddings and other events and they all had similar feedback.

I hosted my 10 year high school reunion here and the entire event was flawless. Shannon and her team did an incredible job decorating the space and making sure the food and bar service ran seamlessly. Shannon was a joy to work with, and it was delightful having such an experienced, professional events coordinator running the show. Highly recommend for an affordable, beautiful event that will be a hit with your guests.

I give No stars but your required to at least give one so I will give one by being forced. I was told it's going to be as easy as a walk in the park. I've never cried so much as I have in the last two days since my wedding. Ruined my entire wedding was ruined! Intoxicated staff, strange man unknown to everyone walking around in shorts getting wasted, right before I started my walk the bartender took someone into my reception room to show the place around. The most important day of my life was completely ruined!!! Bugs, food was cold, my friend actually stocked the bathrooms with toilet paper before the wedding . The photographer was late, it was a nightmare! Oh wait here's the best the march music wouldn't stop so we could do our vows because no one knew how to run the music from the club!

Low class wedding rip off! They lure you in with the bells & whistles then the staff treated my family rudely during the reception, asking guests to move and not having enough seating. The food was cold and rubbery. Its like their British version of a redneck wedding and was only memorable by embarrassment!

I was at a wedding on the 7th and the staff was horrible! When we arrived there were coach roaches in the restrooms. The bathrooms in the women's room were not seated to the ground. The staff didn't know when or how to start the wedding march over the speakers. The food was cold when it was served after i had to ask the serving staff to bring out the food. The lighting was not on for the first dance. My sister, the bride, cried mostof the evening because her special day was ruined. She was promised the moon and delivered nothing. Absolutely disgusted with the whole experience!!!!!
