E Sushi Odessa

Always a great place to stop in for sushi and drinks! Centrally located in the Odessa/Trinity area. You are welcomed with a smile and staff are happy. :-) order the steamed dumplings, they are fantastic! We ordered some rolls and also the hibachi chicken which were delish!

Finally found a decent, Sushi place! There are several places about but we've just not been happy with them until we came across E Sushi Odessa. Nice atmosphere, good service and very fresh sushi. The menu has a nice assortment of sushi to select from along with some hibachi style dishes. For our first visit we just ordered sushi. It came to the table well presented and most importantly, every bit of it was good and I found the salmon and tuna to be very fresh. We will certainly be coming back here again!!

Craving sushi, I decided to eat here for the first time. Plenty of parking was available around the restaurant. Inside was clean and bright, and they seemed to be doing a good Friday afternoon lunch business. I sat at the sushi bar, and the Sushi Chef Eddie was very friendly.I went with their sushi and sashimi lunch. The server brought my water, soup and salad right out. The soup was not my favorite, being not just bland, but odd tasting too. The salad was fine, although it was basically just lettuce with too much dressing.The sushi platter was okay, with a pretty presentation, although compared to my normal place, the pieces were fewer and smaller. Plus, the tuna tasted a bit fishy, which was unfortunate. It's too bad that the platter is only available with a California Roll. The Sushi Chef did give me an additional treat - I have no idea what it was, but it was good. All in all it was a decent sushi experience.

This place was spotlessly clean, greeted immediately with a smile & great service. Got complimentary items, while we looked over the menu. Our food was fantastic, beautiful plating & top knotch service. They have very nice menu selections.

This time we decided to try the lunch special, I ordered the sashimi lunch special with hot green tea and my Hubs ordered the hibachi steak lunch special, both come with a nice refreshing salad and I think the dressing was a carrot & ginger base regardless, it's just delicious. Both items were under $15 and no appetizers and surprisingly very filling. I enjoy the sashimi lunch special, the pieces were buttery, fresh and delicious. Also enjoyed the beets (noodle garnishes). The Hubs started in on his dish before I could take a picture. The veggies were perfectly grilled, nicely seasoned and crispy. The steak was good and so tender. Definitely recommend this place to anyone close by to stop in for lunch or even dinner. The price points for the quality is good.

Delicious! And their sweet and sour crab Rangoon dip is so unique and ADDICTIVE! Added this to my favorites list for sure!

Had takeout. The food is delicious and kept hot for takeout. Portion size is good. Food ready at time promised. Like the waterfall at the entrance!

We stopped in here late night 9pm on a Thursday and had a nice experience. My husband ordered the sushi/sashimi platter that had a good variety, including: tuna, salmon, whitefish & more! It was served in a beautiful amber glass dragon! I ordered a spicy tuna roll. The spicy tuna roll was fresh but not spicy at all and the roll was a bit loose but overall it was ok. The restaurant was very clean and our server, Elizabeth was excellent & super friendly. We will be back, perhaps for lunch to try some more things.

Just ordered my order to go and am so disappointed what I got for the price! (Sorry I already added ginger to my order on the photo). This is what I paid $40 for (tax and tip included). The $13 house roll has only 5 stinkin pieces and the fish eggs are missing. Very mediocre sushi for the price. Would not recommend.
