Stopped here for an afternoon coffee. This is a breakfast and lunch spot that closes at 2:30PM, so all I had was a coffee, however they do have a couple of tables outside so I took advantage of a beautiful afternoon by sitting outdoors. The place is small and quaint. The service was friendly and the coffee was good. I will be back to try the food.

We drove over from South Lakeland on a Saturday after seeing drool worthy posts on social media from this cute cafe about stuffed waffles and cereal stack pancakes. While the menu didn't have any of those, we both found something to try. I had the Ricotto Blackberry Orange Stack, side of bacon, and coffee. Hubby had the Saturday only chicken & waffles and asked for a Coke and was told they only had Mt. Dew, which he prefers! They do make smoothies. Very cute cafe located in a strip mall, some jazz playing, and friendly staff. A few people came in for to go orders while we waited for our food. From social media and the prices it would appear the pancake stack could feed 2 people easily, but I was let down with no "wow" factor. I couldn't help thinking the size compared to fast food hot cakes. Taste was okay, the Orange was present, just nothing I would recommend anyone drive 40 minutes for. Hubby's waffle came a little after mine, no big deal. We share anyway. The waffle is huge, but chewy on the outside to the point of being tough and raw on the inside. The wings are lightly dusted, flavorful, and the highlight of the meal. They have a great concept and I wish them the best! Give them a try, you may love it.

I purposely came in today to see if the 1 other review was spot on. I'd have to say it was not a similar experience for my visit. Ok, not quite a 4, but definitely not a 3. I'd say 3 1/2 tbh. Greeted quickly as I walked in the door, by a very friendly young man in a chef coat. I assume it was early enough for him to be wearing all the hats, so he took my order, went back into the kitchen and cooked it. Things didn't go quite as planned, as he came out about 15 minutes later to apologize for the wait. I guess he either had to make, or remake something, but the fact that he communicated this goes a LONG way with me. I've told my kitchen staff FOREVER that I'd rather communicate to my guests about a wait, then have them wait and be upset with what they waited for. The pancakes were light, fluffy and as mentioned in the previous review a bit light on the orange zest (I'd personally add a bit more, or even candy some and add it to the batter). The coffee was a bit weak for me, but I like my coffee strong enough to stand a fork up in. Staff interaction was minimal, as they never checked back to see how my meal was, but that's really the only complaint. I'd definitely come back in and try out the other items they have on offer.

So I had some time before I had to go to the license office next door. I saw this place and simply walked in off the street. The staff is very friendly and nice. The place is clean simple and laid back atmosphere. I got the cream cheese and strawberry waffles , side of bacon , cheese grits and coffee. Coffee was average. The waffles however were damn amazing. Bacon was bacon and grits were good and plentiful. I'll be back for the waffles. I'd also like to mention this is a family owned black business for those who want to support local or black owned businesses. The menu does change a bit so be aware before you arrive. Def recommend giving it a try.
