Down Thai Town

Stumbled apon this hidden gem, open late, chill vibe but most importantly service and food were 10/10!!

First time trying this place and ordered uber eats on a game day and didn't think twice about the location. They called me right away to let me know about the delay and were very communicative! Once I got my food, all I can say is... WORTH THE WAIT!!! Massaman is chefs kiss and the drunken noodles are awesome, and great portions for the price! Will definitely be coming back!

WORST THAI FOOD IN TAMPA and the SERVICE is EVEN WORSE!Called in an order at 8:45pm for pad thai, drunken noodles, tom kha, & app combo (spring roll, coconut shrimp, wings). I was told the order would be ready in 1hr. Seems kind of long but good thai food deserves patience. Showed up as directed. The one man show was in the weeds - deep. He asked for cash or zelle despite having a credit card machine and prioritized all his delivery orders. My order was finished at 10:30pm, nearly two hours after I called it in. Meanwhile, I enjoyed an Arepa and a cocktail from another food truck. On my way home, I got a call from Down Thai Town informing me that he forgot to make the app sampler and could I come back to pick it up... No apology. No discount. No problem, IF the food would have been amazing. It wasn't even edible! THIS IS THE WORST THAI FOOD I'VE EVER TASTED.The noodles were inedible - pasty dry. I don't waste food so I soaked them in the Tom Kha soup just to soften them. The app sampler was soggy and under cooked.
