Sweet little brewery in Wesley Chapel by the Krates. They have some good IPAs and food. Very chill space. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. If you're in the area, I'd definitely go visit.

I went into Double Branch on a trip back from Clearwater, largely based on the reviews at the time. Was greatly disappointed. I was the only client on a Sunday, which did not bode well. At the time, I was told they did not have food, which was disappointing, but I am not reviewing based on that (website still shows food - ah, let me get back to that).I guess a bit of a story is probably in order here. Apparently Double Branch was a brewery that was sold out to new owners. The owners got rid of the restaurant to work with a franchisee to supply food and focus on the beer. To accomplish this, they decided to save money and build the walls themselves, but did not realize you need a permit to do construction. At the time I was there, they were trying to figure a way to get the work approved without any permits or fines. It was not going well. Thus, the website is now either talking about food they have after completing the process or they simply do not update their website. I woudl call if I cared enough to go back. I don't. The shining light was the bartender that day. I would imagine she is gone now as she was not making enough money, even with my generous tip, to make it worth the trip. If they don't do something, I imagine they will be out of business soon. At least I got a review in?

Fairly recently under new ownership according to the bar tender. Therefore, they don't have a brewer and are not brewing beer. Beer options are significantly limited and there is no food. There's no pool tables, no darts, the ladies bathroom wasn't functional. I had to be escorted to the employee bathroom because there "was a hole in the ladies room roof". There's a touch tunes you can use but that's about it. Service was friendly enough. I did catch the bartenders life story and details about her life I'd rather not know. I walked to sit at the bar and talk to my husband. That didn't get to happen because the bar tender rapidly spoke to me the entire time. This was my first time and likely my last. Don't waste your time.

nothing to see here, this isn't the brewery you are looking for, move along. Had high hope several years ago but beers were never good enough to be a destination.

A nice, quiet spot if you want to wind down from a loud, busy day at work. Stopped by here on a Thursday and was tended by Tracey. She was very sweet and attentive, and worked up a small conversation which I appreciated.Their beer selection is very unique and it's a great place to hangout if you want to explore your pallet. I tried the Schwarzbier and Orange You Glad It's Stout, but my favorite was the Dad Joke which is a light lager. All delicious and cold.It was kind of awkward the whole time though. I noticed the owner was hovering over his team so his team was on edge. Made me kind of uncomfortable because he's giving orders instead of helping them. He also was "whispering" a lot in front of the bar so I'm not sure what was so secretive that couldn't have been said behind the kitchen door. I also think he was a little judgmental? Not sure. He literally asked everyone at the bar how was their food and drink besides me... and I was the only woman at the bar. I also look very young. He said goodbye to all his customers walking out the door and not me. He clearly saw me leave too as I made eye contact with his staff when I left.Come here after hours when he's gone.

For a brewery that serve food, Double Branch is a good one. You can enjoy the food and their local brew beer. The brewery has open seats and the wait staff will come to ask what you want. If you want fast service, stay at the bar area. I order a local stout black beer. I like the taste. We order the appetizer Texas Eggroll. This eggroll contain smoke brisket and smoked jalapeño. It is really good. We also order a Slammin Salmon Sammie. This salmon is blackened and come with fries. The blackened flavor is what I like. The fries is also good to go with. Service is a little lack off from beginning. Once we look up with wait staff, everything go smoothly.

Double Branch Artisanal Ales is a great spot to grab a refreshing beer, watch the game and hang with friends.Double Branch is located in a newer section of the Grove plaza in Wesley Chapel. All kinds of new restaurants and businesses have opened up here. Double Branch was one of the busier ones this Friday night I'd suspect. My bro and I ventured here after dinner. It wasn't super busy when we walked in. The majority of the bar was taken up and there weren't too many smaller tables available. We opted for a 6-person high-top.One of the employees was soon around to greet us and got us started on some beers. I ordered the Dad Joke. A light, crisp refreshing beer. It was served in a Miller Light glass and honestly, it could have been that. It's probably the simplest beer on their menu. A traditional light lager, a light golden color, slightly bubbly with a bready taste. I enjoyed it.At one point, two seats at the bar opened up just as a group of about 10 people came in. My bro and I b-lined to the bar seats to allow for the larger group to sit.For my 2nd beer, I got a smaller 10oz pour of their Arnold Palmer sour. This was unique and tasty. It didn't have too much carbonation. It was sour with a majority of the flavor lending to the lemon profile. The color was a little darker, which gave you the tea aspect. I may have tasted a tinge of tea in this but not much. Either way, it was refreshing. I didn't feel like I was drinking a beer with this one.My brother ordered their Irish red ale with the added pumpkin flavor. He also tried some grape beer that was tasty but also not reminiscent of beer.We enjoyed this place. My brother has been before. It was lively with sports on TVs, live music, and plenty of people around enjoying the beer. The place got packed as the night went on. The staff was all very friendly. They have an array of beers from the simplest to unique craft flavors. I'm sure you'll find a beer here you'd like.

I used to really like Double Branch, both the beer and the food--but it seems like they've just lost the plot recently.Throughout the last year (the first half of 2023), their food menu became sharply reduced, then disappeared entirely. They've literally walled off the space where the kitchen used to be. The new wall is completely bare, which just makes the brewery feel that much more like a warehouse. This is bad enough, because they had great food. But you come to a brewery for beer, right? Well, the last three times I've been in, the beer just...wasn't very good. I don't know what's going on, but these are regular IPAs that, at least in two cases (Need a Minute and Rye Speed Low Drag), I know I've had here before and can recognize the flavors are off. I had it again on visit three with the Hazy Florida Morning. There's an underlying unpleasant funk. Is the beer just not fresh? Do the tap lines need cleaning? Whatever it is, it's turning what used to be a sublime experience into a subpar one.If they open a kitchen again, or just start getting in more customers and turning over enough beer that it's more guaranteed to be fresh, I'll probably check back in. Otherwise, they've had three strikes in a row with me.

New brewery in the Grove! Love that they had two ciders on tap: rose and elderberry to keep this cider girl happy! Right in the bustling Grove hangout across from the Treble makers and axe throwing place. Finally the Grove is really becoming a one stop shop complete with this brewery and hangout in tow! The vibe is casual, friendly and a little like 81Bay with game tables and TVs. Great alternative to the Florida Brewing Co 10 min from here.
