Did have some items that were cheap but small variety of items. They did have some cheap produce like Thai chilies. The one item I needed, they just had an empty box of it and no other substitutes. The other one I needed was expired so wasn't going to buy that. And they don't carry simple miso soup packets. They didn't have a lot of simple items I was looking for. I picked up an item without a price tag from the freezer and come to find out the cashier just made up a price that was twice as much of what it would regularly cost. Definitely got ripped off. Place has narrow aisle and looks like a mess in some areas but can find things if you look long and hard. Saw an opened piece of jackfruit that they sell in pieces just hanging out in the open for a long time and people passing by it easily. Didn't look sanitary. The sriracha bottles looked really brown and not the usual red color, checked the expiration and it was not expired but looked suspicious and will not buy it. Not a place I would go to again.

I went a few weeks back and there is an abundance of products both familar and unfamilar and it felt like an experience for sure. I could have spent the whole day deciphering the wild varieties of products. Made me question if I was truly adventurous enough to in trying new things. The 3-4 people I encountered were friendly --- but busy. Given I wasn't a famliar face my reception wasn't as friendly as I would have wanted. Therefore I painstakingly went up and down each row and aisle in a slow and rather meticulous way. Genuinely marveled at the differences in packaging, disply and of course in just about everything you can imagine. I was plesantly surprised to find other ethinc foods but better yet things from S. America as well. As a world traveler favoring Asian cultures I tend to lend towards these foods. I wish they had cooking classes to be able to bring new goodies home.

Large Asian food market, emphasis on Vietnamese foods, with lots of dry grocery items as well as some prepared foods. I agree with other reviewers thought, it needs a bit of organization and clean up.

Be prepared to see see real VN food. It's a good start to get what you need to cook most Asian foods. The cashiers are friendly but the floor staff does not speak English well. But the customers are very friendly and you can always find someone to help.

On the plus side, they had everything we needed to make Kim Chi and Fish Cakes. On the negative side these folks make you wear a mask, which is totally bizarre considering how filthy everything was. I made error using restroom which was filthier still and the sink totally blocked so no way to wash hands. Fortunately I brought alcohol wipes. Utter insanity. My husband noticed if you search for Korean Market you get some promising results and that's where we will go next time and see if it's a little more friendly and sane ...cleaner would be a bonus.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, so the parking lot was packed. This Vietnamese grocery store is medium sized in comparison to other stores in the area. However, it has some specialized items worth mentioning and possibly making it worth a visit. There is a large Vietnamese video and music selection of what appears to be some official releases as well as the usual stuff. There is also a jewelry counter that has precious stones, gold, and jade. It was interesting to see a jeweler there in a grocery store wearing the head mounted magnifying goggles. The ceramic (note not plastic) dish selection is very beautiful, most of it being sapphire on white. I purchased an amazing teapot with a bamboo handle for $9.99 that had choy symbols, ryukins, and bats painted on it. When we have a larger kitchen, I will definitely be going back for the rest of the collection.Their selection of fresh whole fish was small, but looked delicious and smelled like absolutely nothing, very clean and easy to cook at home. There were large whole fish cleaned and de-headed for a low price as well as a case of BBQ duck and pork. The frozen seafood section had a larger selection of squid than most, and if you eat as much squid as we do, it is great. The soda and tea selection was very large as well, featuring non-expired drinks for once. I actually was able to find my favorite can of Watermelon Soda for only $0.60 each. They also had Taiwanese Lychee Green Tea and Coconut Juice with Aloe. Fresh vegetables are usually my favorite thing to shop, but here it was very confusing and the portions were too large. To buy jalapenos, you had to buy a flat of 12, same thing with shallots, and I did not even see cilantro. Most of the vegetable items were pre-packaged with no price tags or labals.and half were refrigerated in foggy bags, so you could not even see what was inside to identify it. I am all about prepared snacks to take home for dinner and to take to work for the rest of the week. They had many to choose from here. Items like sticky rice, Banh Mi, rice paper rolls, meat plates, rice plates, and sweet bean desserts. The best breakfast ever is purple coconut sticky rice with taro (heated warm), and that is what I will be eating tomorrow thanks to Dong A.

This is my go-to Asian market for pork, fish, spices, fresh herbs, dry and cold noodles, and Rice. I've had good luck with Dong A's cutlery and prepared foods ad well. Their product variety is on a par with stores having twice the floor area, and their friendly personal service is always good.
