Not great Mexican food. Meat lacked flavor. Salsas were terrible for the tacos.Enchiladas had no cheese. Service was slow. Figuring out where to order and pick up food was chaotic. Market selection was fine. Dessert was terrible too. Ordered Flan, it was also terrible.Coming from Southern California, hands down worst Mexican food I've had in 20 years. Go to Antijitos in Dunedin or Las Californias in Oldsmar. Far better.

I had a chicken burrito nothing else and it cost $9.95! With a tax and tip $11.62 - nothing spectacular. Personally i think that is too high price for one single item and they don't have the prices on the menu anymore. Things have changed there.

Finally had the chance to try this spot and what I thought was a small restaurant, like the tardis expands into this awesome bodega like shop with a kitchen and a glass wall of delicious pastries. For this first go around I got the sopes with chicken and they were really good! I wasn't expecting three in the to go box so I had leftovers. I also picked up some pastries. A single concha was more than enough lol. My bari friends: know that the serving sizes are big for us! So be prepared to take some stuff home. Service is what you would expect in a Hispanic bodega. If you don't speak Spanish then maybe order ahead. But if you aren't afraid then pop your head in, they were super friendly and helped me order.

this place is good. it's a hit or miss with their tacos but it's one of our to-go places for tacos in pinellas county now. i like getting their lengua & cabeza tacos. My husband likes their carne asada tacos. their al pastor sometimes can be bland or undercook, and it's not cooked via rotating vertical broiler. the workers are nice, only the cashier area can speak english.. but there are times when i go there it gets difficult. This place is also a little grocery store. They have mexican snacks, drinks, candies, conchas!

Locals eat and shop here and most only speak Spanish, so we knew it would be GOOD! Homemade tortillas were dynamite, not to mention the Fajitas and fresh fixins. Housemade sauces also great. Dinner for 2 with drinks for $40...and an adventure down the aisles as after dinner entertainment.

My bf ordered me cinco pollo tacos from here as a surprise. He told me that the server and cooks were lively and everyone was having a good time. So the ambiance was warm and welcoming. When I came home the tacos were waiting for me. He asked me to try them in front of him to see my reaction. Let me tell ya'll something out of majority of the Mexican restaurants I've tried in FL, these tacos are the juiciest. They are very succulent and have just the right amount of seasoning on them. Not dry at all, not over powered by onions and not greasy. Everything was evenly proportioned and so delicious. I couldn't finish all of them, so I will be finishing them tomorrow. I am one satisfied taco connoisseur.

Horrible service. Like almost comically bad service. The Carne Asada was overcooked and essentially in edible. In a very calm, relaxed way I tried to explain that to the server and she could absolutely care less. I asked her for replacement and she flat out said no we don't do that. If you don't like it, we can just take the plate away and you can order something else. But of course I would then be paying for two meals. We just paid up our bill right then and left.

Let me start by saying I know my Mexican food and this place is one the best in the area. In case you did not know. The restaurant that used to be in the market is now next door in a new location that has been open for about 6 months. Love their food and friendly service! Must try - the mains dishes are very authentic and so good, any of the tacos, top notch and the steak quesadilla is amazing. I am not usually a fan of the quesadilla but a friend ordered it and it is so good. Try this place next time you want Mexican and you will not be disappointed. Also, they offer their meat, such as carnitas by the pound, so SUPER BOWL TACOS, OH MY, DEFINITELY!!!
