Don Julio's Cockteles

To start, the horchata is fresh, creamy, cold and delicious! My three tacos. Pollo, Asada & Al Pastor were very tasty. Small, but packed with flavor. Greasy, but imo, fat is flavor!! Their caliente salsa can come up a notch too. I'll try a platter of something next time.

I stumbled upon this restaurant while searching for Mexican options in the Wimauma/Ruskin area. I arrived at the location on a Thursday evening. The restaurant is more of a store front with a few tables situated under a large carport. It looks dated however, these are normally the hidden gems. I ordered a shrimp burrito ($11.50) and a large cup of ceviche ($15). I previously lived in Panama and ceviche is one of my favorite foods. So I was excited to try the dish. Sadly, the ceviche was not edible. It tasted as if it was spoiled. I have tried various versions of ceviche however, I have never had ceviche minced in such a manner. The burrito was flavorless (no seasoning at all) and the shrimps were extremely small. The best part of the meal was the hot sauce.

Consistently pumps out the best Mexican food. This is the sister location to another food truck on 301 north of Balm road. We always order the nachos, tacos, chimichangas, and tostados. They are all cooked and seasoned perfectly. The workers are always kind. Expect to sit under an overhang outside. This is a food truck, not a restaurant.

When i gave this place a good rating before i thought it was the other place in ruskin. SO SORRY same name that place is AMAZING def drive the distance and go there. This place i tried only one item and it was ok nothing special like the other don julios. Sorry for changing the review from 5 stars but i thought this was the other place at first . This one is not bad but not great if drunk on the way home stop in, well no do not drink and drive i mean with an uber driver of course.

Referred by a coworker, I had to try Don Julio's. So far I've been twice and placed the same order; 4Chicken tacos. They hit the spot so perfectly on lunch break at work, friendly staff, very reasonable on pricing, and fully loaded tacos packed with flavor!Go give them a try if you haven't already, it'll easily become a local favorite.

Delicious authentic Mexican! Everyone liked their food. Bisteca, barbacoa, carne asada, all very tasty. The chips were very crunchy, and piping hot! The salsa had some heat and the tomatillo sauce was tasty. The Horchada was DELICIOUS!! **The only downside to a roadside eatery is the road noise - we had a particularly loud tricked-out truck gun it right in front of the outdoor seating.

Good service and delicious food! I come here when I pass by for work, always good quality stuff each time. Definitely check it out

Stopped in for a late lunch. Super friendly service and great gorditas and tacos! We will definitely add Don Julio's to our rotation!

Delicious, authentic Mexican food served hot and fresh. I eat there twice a week and always great.

Ok I am in Wimauma Fl. So I looked up a Mexican restaurant . I had 2 tacos and sobe . Now , this ain't no fancy place so don't come acting high class. The tacos were great . I saw people swallowing the sobe. So I said let me order it. I had them to place the beans on the side. Not sure about the sobe. Best the tacos were different but good. There was a steady flow of customers.
