Quaint deli that served delicious sandwiches. The service was efficient. We didn't wait long for the food. We ordered a Turkey Melt and a Rosemary Chicken Sandwich. Both tasted great, but we asked for additional Creole mustard to improve overall taste. Overall a good pit stop before the rest of our activities for the nice.

Have not yet dined I'm which could skew my review, but have had delivery from here over a dozen times as it's close to my place of work. I keep coming back here for the reliability of the food and of course the proximity, but as I've journeyed through most of the menu I have yet to find anything that is truly memorable. The food is very ok. But it's also always ok and never bad. Old reliable you might say. People do not venture down to the localApplebees because they have the best steaks in town, but because it's affordable, consistent, and something comforting about its familiarity. That is what Dom's is for me. The salad menu isn't robust, but they will put together salads in request. I usually ask for gyro meat atop a Greek. Usually the special of the day is my favorite because I know it's fresh and it is unique. The best menu item imo is the Cuban. Certainly not the kind of Cuban that would slap the cigar right out of your mouth, but definitely holds its own for quick delivery, crispy bread, and warm melty meats. Not the kind of place many should go out of their way for, but certainly a nice feature near the USF campus for people trying to get a quick lunch bite.

The hidden gem for any small town boy living in a big city. Independently owned and operated, Dominick's is the rare entity that is not controlled by USF or Moffitt Cancer Center. And it shows. The owner does everything, from take your order to cool the food. There are two wonderful employees that are the first thing you see when you walk in. And they always greet you with a smile and your name. They'll remember your favorite Disney movie and gave you the newest Harry Potter updates. They take an interest in you, from passing a test to passing a kidney stone. The food is amazing. There is not a bad thing on the menu. Everything is made to order and fresh. Breakfast is served all day. Pancakes are so fluffy you'll think you're Agnes Gru from Despicable Me. The sunrise sandwich is the most amazing breakfast sandwich I've ever tasted. It's like waking up in a cabin and overlooking the Rocky Mountains in the spring. The house club is delicious. I've never tasted a club this good. But again. I say that about everything in this deli. And the soup. Oh. My. Gouda. The red pepper Gouda is the last soup you'll ever need. Even in 90 degree Florida Christmas weather, you'll have no problem swallowing down this magical soup. They have specials that change on a weekly basis. They have coffee that is regular and flavored. Everything can be customized to fit your diet and flavor needs. Remember, this is a deli. So there is no sit down seating associated with the location. There is a lobby with chairs and some outdoor seating related to research institute, but don't expect to come in and sit down. Do expect to leave with a smile on your face. 5 out of 5. 9 out of 10. 92 out of 100.

I have tried a lot of Cuban sandwiches and Dominick's is by far my favorite. Consistent food and friendly workers.

The food is decent but very overpriced for small portions, and service is painfully slow. The specials also make no sense - if you pay 8 dollars for a premade salad, you cannot add on a soup or chips + drink combo but you can for the much cheaper (yet also tiny) sandwiches. They only stay in business because they are one of two options on the Moffitt campus.
