As an early riser my 6am google search for an early breakfast near my motel in Treasure Island produced many 7am and 8am places but only 1 place was open at 6am. Having lived in NY for 5 years, I know that Diners can be an excellent option. So Doe Doe's Diner here I come.A quick 10 minute drive over the Tom Stuart Causeway brought me to this diner on Alt.19. A stand alone business serving breakfast and lunch with entrances on 2 sides and parking on 3 sides was a welcome sight. With half a dozen patrons by the time I arrived at 6:15am, I settled into a comfy booth. I was greeted right away by a cherrful lady and offered the beverage of my choice. Unsweet tea please. One great thing about diners other than the hours, you can order whatever is on the menu at anytime.I jumped at the chance for a breakfast cheeseburger w/ a side salad instead of fries. Diners give you options and they had it all. A simple and fresh salad with a greek type vinegrette hit the spot. A delicious made to order cheeseburger appeared as soon as my salad plate emptied. I put in a take-out order, a 3 cheese omelet w/ hash browns for the wife. They also have curb-side service. Quick, pleasant and attentive service was rewarded. Extra napkins without asking.A cozy, comfy and warm bastion on a chilly and foggy morning was just what the doctor ordered. No rush, no fuss good eats kick started my mini-vaca Sunday morning. What more could you ask for? Come get ya some.

Came here on Sunday at noon and place was hopping... very busy, but we found a seat and server could not be more prompt and personable! The food was very good and the prices were very reasonable! The ambiance was Floridian diner just as expected! They had two birthdays and staff all sang to patrons and it was a very fun and lovely diner atmosphere with good food and large portions!!!! We will be back!

My review is based on 2 visits. New years eve the food was perfect. Delicious! The server was pleasant and efficient. The eggs were cooked to order, hashbrowns were crisp and yummy! So we went back new years day. The server was nice enough but the cook left much to be desired. Eggs were like snot. So day 1 5 stars. Day 2...1 star. Hit or miss diner.

My mom and I were running errands a few weekends back and we stopped in to Doe Doe's Diner! I pass this place coming home from work everyday! My mom and I had a wonderful brunch and the food was just what we needed. Service: 9.6Food: 9.2Scale system 10/10 would be what I want for my last meal9.9-9.3 driving out of my way to get this9.2-8.0 like the place and would go back 7.9-7.0 I would come here again if it were presented and don't have anything bad to say6.9 and below - thanks but no thanks after try one

My daughter and I are in town for the first time in approximately five years. We are here visiting family, and she is going to stay the Summer for an internship. For our first breakfast, we hit our family's favorite local breakfast spot... Doe Doe's. We walked in at 7:30 on a Sunday morning. There was a decent crowed but plenty of available seating (later in the morning this place will be slammed). My daughter had pancakes and bacon. The pancakes were delicious and almost melted in your mouth. I had Eggs Benedict with hash-browns. So many places rush, and undercook the hash-browns. Not here. These were sooo crispy and sooo good!!Our waitress was super friendly and attentive. Prices are very reasonable. We asked where they came up with the name; and it turns out the original owners' kids called their grandma: Doe Doe. I'm guessing Grandma Doe Doe would be proud of this place.

Sweet little mom and pop shop that delivers some very quick breakfast. Not only that, but the price for four was more than fair. Service was a little slow, but that's only because they had a huuuge party come in right after us so I wouldn't judge for that. Staff was very friendly and enjoyable. Couldn't remember why we moved on from Doe Does - lack of any flavoring most noticeable with the home fries, absolutely no flavor. Service used to be ok, this time, waited over 20 minutes to place our order and the waitress was not at all pleasant.
