Dignitary Kava House

It's like walking through a time warp back to the days before inflation made going out and having a good time financially impossible. Great crowd with a mix of all types of people of all ages. I had the Anti-Social. Very tasty chai-like drink. Bar tender was very nice.I originally sighed when I heard it was karaoke night, but it ended being very enjoyable. Not obnoxiously loud like other karaoke nights can be. The karaoke host, Thanchia is a sweetheart. There are 2 other rooms if karaoke isn't your thing.Very cool place. I will be back for sure.

Was traveling here on the west coast for the weekend and decided to try a few kava bars over here. I went to 3 different kava bars in Largo, Clearwater and Tampa and by far this one was the best. The kava tender behind the bar was so friendly, he helped me select the right blend and gave us so much information about the products they have. He also took us on a tour which included a few extra rooms great for chilling- one has a friendly cat too! My husband went into the smoke shop and talked with the owner there and also got a new vape and had good conversation. We will be back when in the area but if you are in the area, don't waste your time going to other kava bars- just go straight to this one and enjoy the positive vibes.

Dignitary is a great space to come and hang out whether you're looking for coffee, tea, kava, or Kratom. All of the staff there are absolutely warm and welcoming to each person who walks in the door. There's wifi available as well. Therefore, if you want to come to do some work on your computer or play some games, swing on by. There is also an outdoor enclosed seating area with comfortable couches for smoking individuals. If you partake in medicinal substances, there is a separate room for that as well in their vip room. Just make sure you have your card!

I am new to the kava world and just love this place. I record my weekly podcast in the same building and was curious as to what they served. The entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helped me make my first official visit a memorable one. They also feature local products, vendor markets, live entertainment, and more. This is now my favorite place to hang out on South Tampa and I am always sure to meet someone new.

I've been trying to get down to the lounge for one year. I finally made it down there Monday and I love the vibe. Everybody's very very nice, warm and welcoming as always, kratom lounges Kava bars, the community is just very warm and welcoming. It's the best that I have ever encountered this place has the best tea by far I have gone everywhere between Wesley Chapel, Palm Harbour, Clearwater, Tampa Saint Pete, Sarasota, etc. this tea is the best shout out to dignitary and Ian Beckles and his staff ! Awesome place man very blessed.

Dignitary became my home away from home in Tampa. I was welcomed, brought into conversations, treated to hours of company with tenders and patrons. The vibe is really nice. Very relaxing ambiance, and it's interspersed with one of the owner's old football memorabilia (I took so many pics of this place, but I don't have access to any of them! Sorry!). I laughed, I cried, I embroidered, I ate Frank'a cookout stuff, I just went in after a day of work to enjoy life and bula with good people. It's clean, it's a newer kava/kratom spot, and it will not disappoint. They haven't been open that long and the community there is already growing and becoming more versatile and interesting. I highly recommend this place. It will always be a dear spot to me and every time I go back to Tampa in the future, I will be there, ordering a red/white house style kratom and a shell. I hope you decide to check it out and it becomes special to you, too.Update: they do have a rewards program. There's an app you have to download; make sure you ask to get your points added so you can accumulate them for free drinks!

Lovely little Kava bar! It's really the only one in the area and it's nice to get out of downtown. Lots of variety and flavorings and such. Didn't love my drink, but I am willing to try again. Teatenders were super friendly and the atmosphere was so cute! Would definitely recommend as a place to hang out, work on homework, etc.

This place is awesome. Arcade games everywhere, darts, board games, outdoor patio. Tons of awesome drink selections. Super strong and smooth kratom, clean kava. Great place to hang out with friends. Tons of TVs everywhere and you'll probably run into Buccaneer legend Ian Beckles while you're there. Nice staff, great vibes, great drinks. Right up there with Grassroots as my favorite Kava bar in Tampa Bay.

Very sheik & relaxing atmosphere in South Tampa. The Kava is brewed on site. TVs everywhere and it's perfect for small to medium get together.

Unbelievably awesome vibe and a great group of people! It's a great place to chill and just be!
