We stopped by the Japanese market next door and saw this bakery so we had to make a stop. It's a cute little shop with very little seating but the option is there as well as outdoor seating. We were greeted by a display of goodies available to choose from. For 6 cupcakes, it was $5 and a brownie for $1.99. The cupcakes were moist and delicious. I love that they used whipped topping instead of icing. That was a plus. We were greeted by an employee very promptly who helped us. I definitely plan to return if I am in the area, definitely worth the great price and drive!

Finally visited Ana Delicias Bakery AGAIN! I am happy and sad that it's on a complete opposite side of town than I live. That might be a good thing because I would want to go all the time. This little bakery is soo soo cute and they serve some amazing Dominican cakes. I was following their Instagram for some time and they are a work of art. Not only a work of art though, they are so good and stand out above the rest in terms of desserts. It's been a long time I've felt that way too.Last time I was here, I really wanted one of their cakes ordered from my birthday, but my hubby didn't want to because of the distance. It's understandable. Next time we will though! This time around I tried their carrot cake. It's not a number 1 option for me elsewhere but with it having chocolate and dulce de leche it was quite different than I've ever had. I had their alfajores again. They are short bread cookies with dulce de leche. They are my favorite. Last time I tried their passion fruit mousse. I love all things passion fruit. My hubby tried the cookies and cream and the chocolate cake and he loved them so much. This is a huge favorite for us!! Definitely check it out!!!

Great little bakery! Really friendly staff, and beautiful cakes and pastries! I had a Tres Leches cake to go, and my girlfriend got the carrot cake. Both were delicious! Highly recommended!

This is a Dominican Bakery, so expect Spanish style desserts when coming here. We tried a few items and they were all very good. The service has been great and inviting every time I've come here. There were men at the register and women preparing baked goods in the back. The main reason for me to come here is for HubbyStanks' birthday. He's Dominican so he grew up eating Domincan Cake (Bizcocho). To be honest it's not my favorite cake...at all. You had to grow up on it to like the grainy texture of the cake and the graininess of the meringue icing. It tastes good, I just don't care for the texture or extra sweetness. The best part about the cake is it's traditionally filled with pineapple and you can get the guava version too. For HubbyStanks' birthday I opted for the guava because I thought he'd enjoy it. However his mother (who shares the same birth date) wished I would have gotten pineapple. Oh well, it appeared HubbyStanks was happy with it.I'll definitely be back for bizcocho and other desserts whenever I need to butter HubbyStanks up.

I was debating writing a review for a business I have not stepped in and for a product I experienced "second hand". But I wanted to give kudos to the folks at Ana Delicias bakery. I also regret the extemporaneous pic through the cover but c'est la vie. After still working through all the awesome Thanksgiving/baby shower/70th birthday foodstuffs of the last week and more, my aunt stopped by and gave us the remnants of a white cake. I saw it was not chocolate based, and shrugged. Later my mom said I should try it. I did so grudgingly and was blown away! The frosting was so light and airy but tasted yummy. The cake was very moist like it was newly made despite arriving in mysterious circumstances. The cake itself was yellow cake with alternating layers of fluid/glaze that tastes like pineapple. As I've said before, chocolate is my true love so props to ADB for making a great non-chocolate cake.Unfortunately, I dont know the proper name of this cake. Send me a message if you do lol ;))I looked at their website and it seems they're of Dominican origin and located on Sheldon. While cake is not my favorite dessert, these folks put a solid argument for it!

Spoil tres leches. This is not acceptable! I cannot believe a bakery has spoiled desserts! Aren't they supposed to be fresh? No wonder the box doesn't have the date when it was made, which doesn't comply with the health code! I want my money back

Great Dominican Bakery. Generally we are very weary of spanish bakeries because they skew to way too sweet. And me and Mrs. are both hispanic, we know. Ana's was everything we didn't expect. Sooo very cute inside, looks like an upscale cake shop. Loved the cookies with dulce de leche, the Majarete, the cakes and the tres leches was to die. Nothing was overly sweet. All the flavors came through brilliantly. Of course there were a couple misses like the dulce cortado and the chocoflan, they didn't impress. But everything else was great. Have been here 3 times in two weeks. Definitely recommend.

Delicias is in the name for a reason! This cute little bakery is located in a plaza off Sheldon (opposite of Publix on Sheldon, a little further north). The interior is nicely designed! Adorable and fun color palette, great display of food, and there are 2 tables inside, which can seat about 3-4 each. This bakery features wonderful Dominican and other Latin favorites. But if you're with someone who sticks to what they like, no worries! There are also some more traditional goodies as well! This bakery can satisfy your sweet tooth and savory tooth. There is an array of deserts: cakes, Dominican deserts, mousses, small pastries, cheesecakes, bread pudding* - a little of everything. And a selection of fried snacks: cheesy ball*, mini-empanadas, croquettes, quipes, and pastelilos.I tried the following: Passion Fruit Mousse, Guava Desert, Lime Mousse, Chocolate Cake, Bread Pudding, Guava Crumble*, Piques, and Cheesy Balls*. And every single think was delicious! The mouses are light, creamy and smooth. Feels like a cloud in your mouth. The chocolate cake was moist, with multiple layers of filling. The bread pudding* had a delicious mix of cinnamon and other spices that provided a depth of flavor. The Guava Crumble had a sweet Guava mixed with a buttery oat crumble. The Cheesy Balls is a mix of potato and cheese, just as amazing as it sounds. And the Piques is a mashed potato stuffed with a meat mixture (very similar to Papa Rellena aka Stuffed Potato Ball) except the Piques mixture had a very slight tang/sour taste which is so much more flavorful to me. My favorite desert that I tried was the Passion Fruit Mousse. The perfect level of tang and sweetness that I expect from Passionfruit, but what I loved most was how soft and light the mouse was, it just melts in your mouth! My favorite savory snack was the Cheesy Balls. Just a nice little snack to pop in. I only got photos of the deserts because the Cheesy Balls were so easy to eat in the car on the way home. For pricing - it's a great value! I got all of the following for $27.00: 3 Quipes, 3 Cheesy Balls, 2 Mousses, 1 Guava Desert, 1 Bread Pudding, and 1 Huge Slice of CakeOverall, this is my new favorite bakery! I can't wait to go back and try something new each time!Note: Items with a * by it is because I couldn't remember the actual name because I'm horrible, and that's the best description I can think of!

I'm so happy this little small indy bakery is located right around the corner from where I live. I have been dying to visit this bakery for the longest time, but due to quarantine, I had to Doordash it. For my order, I got their egg sandwich, a chocolate cupcake, and a tequeno, which is basically bread rolled up with cheese. They items were small, but they definitely packed on big taste! The bread in the sandwich and the tasty tequeno tasted very fresh and soft. I love how the breakfast sandwich was made with real, fresh eggs and was well seasoned. I absolutely loved the tequeno which is only natural since i really love bread and cheese. The cupcake was small, yet simple with a good chocolate flavor and is crowned with fresh, fluffy whipped cream. My one regret is that the menu on Doordash is rather limited and I know they offer much more. Looking forward to getting out of quarantine so I can go try more and see the beautiful bakery!
