DeRusso’s Pizzeria

The brand new server was very good attentive . We enjoyed ziti and sausage with marinara . It was better than i thought it was gonna be.. i have low expectations for sauces and i will order this again !! Now on to the Pizza . 1st nice crisp crust Amazing sauce just the right amount of toppings . Was gonna write a review there but decided the few hours later test sitting in box till i decided to eat at room Temperature ! OK settled as good as my Favorite . ABC Pizza may be a touch better in the restaurant then theres is . Great choice Tedie Will be my go to in ST Pete for sure

I am very disappointed. My family and I have been ordering from you for years and live right down the street. This pizza tasted frozen and was so dry and the wings were awful. We will definitely be thinking twice about where to order pizza again...

Food is good, service is impeccable, ambiance is relaxing. I would recommend this to anyone looking for good food.

Finding good pizza in Florida is a never ending quest. Particularly if you're from NJ which has some really spectacular pizza joints. DeRusso's is from NY, so they know a good pie. It's a little bit thicker than I like, but it's got good flavor and they don't use crappy ingredients. Sauce is always nice and a little bit sweet. Cheese is of good quality as well. I'm good for a medium pie with peppers and onions. It's good for sure!

Whenever we go to Ft. DeSoto beach, we stop by this small cafe for pizza. usually we take out the pizza but this time we decided to dine in. It was Sunday around 1pm and we just beat the lunch rush- fortunately.There is 1 person in the kitchen cooking for maybe 6 tables and some seats by the bar. So the sudden appearance of 15 people resulted in a 30 minute wait for our pizza. The Margherita with onions pizza does not disappoint- just be prepared to wait or call ahead for your meal. House salad was fresh and cold, dressing made in house. Other customers were enjoying very large hot Italian sandwiches. Plenty of parking out front of this small strip mall.

So we were looking to get pizza and watch the sunset from Tierra Verde but Tony n Nellos was closed due to the virus. We had seen DeRusso's passing by one time and they were open for takeout during corona. So here we are. 5 stars for being open but the food was really good too!We got some wings, antipasto salad and a DeRusso's pie. The wings were cooked perfectly and tasted awesome!Antipasto salad was huge and the dressing was delicious!DeRusso's pie was really good. Bread was a tad thicker than we like but tasted great and all toppings were fresh and delicious.Great spot! We will return

The food here is usually very good, however I ordered buffalo chicken tenders for takeout and they were completely overcooked and hard as hockey pucks. Very disappointed.

Summer waited on us at the bar and she is the best making us feel very comfortable and making sure we are satisfied in every way possible. The food and pizza is the best around . I recommend DeRussos anytime

I ordered two items for delivery but the delivery driver (Doordash) only brought one. The Door dash driver did not speak English. I contacted DeRussos and was told if I wanted a refund I would have to call Doordash! I ended up driving to pick up the missing item from the pizzeria after I had already paid a 7.95 Door dash Delivery charge and a 6.00 tip. Needless to say, DeRussos has lost me as a customer.

Pizza dough was extremely thick and the crust was 3 inches into the pie. Very disappointing. I ordered and paid for double cheese but Was not enough cheese. I will give them another chance but this pizza was substandard.
