Alcapurria, I mean.. no English description for this, I would say that it is very meaty and delicious, One of my favorite street food.
New Latin food restaurant in New Port Richey, FL. The food is great and reasonably priced. Great service and very clean.

This is a perfect local spot right down the street from me and it always offers me great consistent ropa vieja, yucca, y arroz con frijoles. I was a little upset they were out of the mofongo and sancocho when we went last time but they usually do have that in stock. Everything is super fresh and it's always super busy around lunch time.

Cuban sandwich is sooo huge. Could have easily shared it with my husband; in fact we each only ate half and we took an entire sandwich home for tomorrow's lunch. First time I'd had lettuce and tomato on a Cuban, but it was actually good. Almost everyone in here was speaking Spanish, so that speaks well as to how the locals love the place. Will definitely return.

This restaurant is a mix of Colombian and Mexican food! I think it's more for Colombian food than Mexican food, but I'm thinking Mexican food is more prominent in the area and that's why the fusion. First off I can't believe I never tried a pandebono. They r little round bread buns a little smaller than tennis balls but very soft, fluffy, & flavorful with a cheesy taste, but no cheese oozing out. I dreamt about this last night! Now I want more. I can only compare it to Brazilian cheese bread balls but oh the flavor is magnified 150%!My hubby was dying for steak sopes! Again, this restaurant seems more Colombian, for example the decor, so sopes in my opinion should have not been ordered! It was plain! Did not have the cheese, avocado, sour cream - all the fixins that make it good.I'd alone be happy with the pandebono and the passion fruit juice that washed it down! It's nice, clean, spacious, and once the people working came around they were helpful, but it took a little while.

The Cuban food we got here twice was just delicious! One was a pork stew with sides and we ordered Ropa Vieja the next day with more sides to go. Delicious flavor and friendly and deficient service. Nice establishment!

If you don't want the mayo, lettuce and tomato, tell them when you order. Gringos don't know what a real cuban is. And tell them to press it. Been there 3 times now.

We waited until our 5th visit to leave a review. I just couldn't believe the food could be this good every time. We live in Charleston, SC and there is nothing like this restaurant there. The Cuban is the best I have ever had. The rice and beans are just amazing. And the Pastele.... I have no words. Neither of us speak a word of Spanish and we have never had a single issue. If you are anywhere near New Port Richey, do yourself a favor and stop in to this unassuming and incredible little restaurant. If you appreciate genuine Hispanic food, you will not be disappointed.
