I didn't eat any food here, just went in for a few drinks. While it definitely isn't exciting or nice inside by any means, it was a friendly atmosphere. The bartenders were very nice (one who was named Paula, not sure about the blonde girls name). This was my first visit here, and it felt like I was a regular. The people around the bar were super nice, we all talked and enjoyed each other's company. I even ended up swapping Facebook with a couple of the people there. I didn't even have to get drunk to have a good time. I wish this place was closer to come back again.

Since my last review they seem to have done away with their food specials. No more all you can eat wings for 12.95 or 1/2lb angus burger 6.99 mon-thursday. One of the waitresses asked to look at my phone (i was on the dagwoods website.) she kept asking if i was on google like it mattered. I was on their web page. Then she kept telling me "i'm not the manager, but we don't do those anymore. I keep telling "them" to change it, but "they" say they don't know the password." So, long story short, they don't offer the food specials any longer, but the wings are still good.

Been there a couple times,Meh just your average sports bar. However had my card ran twice which took way too long to rectified and NEVER should've happened in the first place. She knew all allng what she was doing. Then on another occasion I overheard another bartender bragging about how she took a customer for his money.I'll not be going back.

This bar told me as a transgender person I couldn't wear a tank top because I "look like a man". Do not visit this transphobic establishment. I walked in and saw a cis woman wearing a tank top but I wasn't allowed as a trans woman. This is Dagwoods 2020.

I lived in Tampa for a number of years, and one of the things i always appreciated about the city is the number of local pubs. These are not bars, restaurants, or clubs, they are pubs! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------pub [pb]n1. (Business / Commerce) (Miscellaneous Technologies / Brewing) A building with a bar and one or more public rooms licensed for the sale and consumption of alcoholic drink, often also providing light meals Formal name public house (Now that has got to get me at least one "useful" vote!)I went with my Brother, who is a regular here. Regulars are a requirement for pubs. A pub is the kind of place where you can expect a lot of locals, cheap beer, decent food and a good time. You don't call ahead for reservations, you walk in and saddle up to the bar. You don't ask for a wine list, you ask what they have on draft. Your bartender will usually either be the owner who will joke with you, or a female bartender who will flirt with you. Dagwood's had two of the latter, which I always appreciate, with the owner sitting a t the bar mixing it up with the patrons.Dagwood's has a lot of big screens for sports, pool tables (another requirement of a real pub) and has a lot of seating. The food is cheap, beer prices are great. Service was super! We had a few beers, a few laughs, and I was introduced around in the traditional local pub orientation "This is my brother....etc" This is a how a new member is admitted into the pack.Ah, Pub life! "Be glad there's one place in the worldWhere everybody knows your name,And they're always glad you came; You want to go where people know,People are all the same; You want to go where everybody knows your name."

I've driven by Dagwoods literally everyday to go to work for the past seven years and I finally stopped in there for lunch. Smoking is permitted inside and there is a sign listed on the door informing all customers of that. From the outside it doesn't look like much, but it is rather nice on the inside. They have roughly 20 HD TVs that are clear and visible throughout the bar and dining area. The menu was a little overpriced for what you get and it wasn't the best selection. I ordered the chicken sandwich and I can't remember having one any worse than this one. It seemed like they didn't let the chicken thaw out long enough and tried to cook it when it was halfway frozen. It was so tough I couldn't even chew through it. I went to grab my utensils to attempt to cut through it, but they don't have utensils. They have plastic cutlery, which is a joke for any place that serves food. I could barely cut through it with a plastic knife, which was frustrating. The portion was small, tough, and just flat out bad. I didn't even eat the bread because after my first attempt at a bite it, it was no longer a handheld due to it having the texture of a hockey puck. The fries served with it were average. They tasted okay, but lacked salt. Our server was very nice. She refilled our drinks and when we asked for to go cups we were informed that they do not have those. So now we have a restaurant with no to go cups and plastic cutlery. I understand they are more of a bar than a restaurant, but c'mon...

OK, so Dagwoods isn't going to go down as the classiest of bars in the history of bars, but what I can tell you is that you're bound to have a good time there. A little dark, very smokey and full of good people. Plus, I have a strong fondness for places that will serve food and allow smoking cigars! The bar features a lot of televisions, a couple of dart boards, a few pinball machines and 4 pool tables. They also have a full menu along with daily specials, like $1 tacos on Wednesdays! Some of the most amazing wings I've had are here, and they're not on the menu, so listen up. Upon request, one can get garlic parm wings, and they are damn delicious. McDivot's has always been near and dear to me with their wings, but I've got to admit that the garlic parm joints at Dagwoods are probably my favorite right now.Note: You will have to wash your clothes twice after leaving Dag's! The smell in there is the gift that keeps on giving!

I went to Dagwood today, have been going there since 1991, worst experience in my life, a bartender named Gabby, I was there at 3PM ET to 6PM ET, she never smiled, I tipped her 20 percent to help her horrible attitude. She should not be a bartender as very unhappy. she singlehandedly ruined my day! I wish er well and hope she gets help. she was nice to my friend but not me, I will never go back to Dagwood though I have gone there since 1991z. Gabby. the bartender there made sure I will never go back. I did find another bar where bartenders were kind and exhibited signs of human kindness. gabby was the. most unkind human being I have ever met on this planet in my lifetime. Peace and happiness to all.
