Cybel - French Moroccan Fusion

This was our first visit to this newly opened restaurant. We were impressed as soon as we walked in as the environment was warm and inviting. The restaurant was extremely clean, which we noticed immediately. All of the staff went out of their way to greet us with professionalism and courtesy. The food was exceptional. Everything cooked from scratch full of wonderful flavors and a beautiful presentation. It was evident that the chef was very passionate about his restaurant.Our waiter could not do enough for us always checking to make sure everything was OK. We will definitely be going back to this restaurant.

Cute little place in St. Pete. They have their own parking lot which is super convenient. We sat in the front area, where there were about four tables, but there appeared to be a side room with seating as well. Our server was friendly and efficient. We were excited because they have a coffee bar inside the restaurant, and I love having a great coffee drink with brunch, however, the coffee bar was closed. We were told we could still get the basic coffees, but we passed.I was really looking forward to trying the Pain Au Chocolat french toast that I had seen online on their brunch menu, only to get to the restaurant and it had a completely different brunch menu that did not include that dish. Oh well.My friend and I split a shakshuka pizza to start, and it was excellent. The red sauce was thicker and more flavorful than regular pizza sauce, and combined with plenty of cheese, seasoning and the egg on top, we both really loved it.My entree was a Mediterranean salad to which I added chicken shawarma. This was great also, as the meat was nice and flavorful. The feta they used in the salad was wonderful; I wish there were more.They offered an intriguing dish called "The French Tacos" and I might try that next time. All in all an enjoyable meal, and I would go back just for that delicious pizza.

We were excited to try Cybel, but when we arrived, we were told that there was nothing to drink as far as beer or wine goes, and that we could bring our own, but there was nothing on the website about this. We would've definitely brought a bottle of wine if we knew. Then, we ordered our dishes. Mine was a very small chicken thigh with french fries for $30. It was enough to feed my five year-old child. My husband got a steak kebab that only contained four small pieces of steak. We probably waited about 40 minutes for our meal. To the point where we almost got up and left.The bill came and it was $90. For what? We were very disappointed.

Wow! It's fantastic to have this restaurant in town. The spices and flavors are absolutely delicious, transporting you to another country with every bite. The service is exceptional, with the husband-and-wife team going above and beyond to make sure your experience is top-notch. The décor is charming, featuring beautiful fabrics and colors that create a sophisticated yet casual elegance.

The food is absolutely incredible! My husband is Moroccan and we're always weary to try Moroccan places because they're usually not that great. Cybel is phenomenal. I find myself saying "OMG" the entire time we eat. The service is also top-notch! They're always very friendly and go above and beyond. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for yummy Moroccan food!

This review was spurred by the French taco. It was AMAZING. I didn't even get it, my husband did, but I couldn't stop stealing bites. The flavors and textures mix together so well: the spicy jerk chicken (which was super tender; you can choose a different meat if you want, but this was fantastic), the crispy and tangy pickles and veggies, and soft French fries, and the insanely addictive sauce. I'm usually not a sauce person because it can overpower the food and make everything soggy, but in this case you MUST get the sauce. We got it without cheese (it's highly customizable), and didn't miss it one bit. However, I would be remiss to not also highlight my meal, even if slightly less exciting. I got the chicken kabob wrap as well as the salad with chicken shawarma on top--both were also excellent and the salad was huge (with a very nice amount of chicken), so I could have gotten by with just that. Usually I prefer grilled chicken cubes versus shawarma, but in this case, the shawarma was so wonderfully seasoned that I would 1000% get that next time (either in a pita or on the salad... Or as a French Taco, when I want to indulge). Although the jerk chicken would be a close second.We got it delivered (not sure if you can eat in since it's in Foodie Labs) so I can't speak to ambiance, but the service was clearly great since they made all of our customizations and requests perfectly, which is often a challenge when getting delivery.DEFINITELY check this place out!! I already can't wait to try it again!

Friendly staff made us feel like family as soon as we walked in the door. The service was great. A very nice selection of authentic foods. Flavors were on point. It is definitely worth a visit.

The food is absolutely amazing! Every bite was superb. The lemon hummus was excellent and the falafel on top was the best!The chicken shawarma was tender and flavorful and the garlic sauce was incredible! The lamb tagine fell off the bone and was spectacular!No alcohol is served here. We did not miss it as the food was perfection in every morsel. Can't wait to go back!!
