After taking the red-eye into town, I immediately went on the hunt for breakfast and proper caffeination; Cuban Eats was within reasonable walking distance of my hotel and looked very promising!Grabbed an iced coffee to try and help battle the humidity, which was delicious, and a Cuban Ham-Egg-and Cheese, which was absolutely perfect! We don't have any Cuban joints in my neighborhood so the flat, crispy, eggy, mustardy sandwich was just a real treat! (I normally eat a lot of breakfast burritos.)Service is great! Food comes up quick, even when they're also putting together big catering orders in the morning! There were no shortage of all sorts of folks coming in for their breakfasts. You can really tell it's a beloved spot by all. Most folks take their food to go, but we stuck around and ate in the dining room. It's pretty no-frills, but clean and tidy. If I'm ever back in Tampa, I'm definitely coming back to try some more lunch-focused offerings!

Maybe this place is still starting up, but it felt like it just wasn't ready for prime time yet. There were no menus posted in the store, their big TVs behind the counter were off, so it was kind of confusing even trying to figure out how or what to order, which was only on a little computer kiosk across the way. The ambience was like, empty half-done strip mall place that will soon be a used Pokémon card store or something. Really weird. I selected the grilled steak bowl for lunch with yellow rice, and when it came, it looked good, and it smelled good, and there was good flavoring on the meat, but the meat was some of the most grisly and chewiest I've had in a long time. It was really hard to chew, and I had to spit some of it out! I can't recommend this place until they address some of these issues.

It was just alright. The ladies behind the counter were friendly but seemed a bit overwhelmed. I visited with my coworkers and there was no one else there when we arrived but the service was slow and the line behind us was growing so I'm really glad we got there when we did!I ordered a cuban sandwich and an empanada. They have a number of hot foods ready to serve but it didn't look very appealing so I decided on a cuban sammy. I got a small which was $6.99 the sandwich itself was decent sized for a small but the sandwich left a lot to be desired. Too much ham not enough mojo pork. I've definitely had better. The empanada was really good but at $3.99 each it's not something I'll ever go back for.

Pretty good. No hot sauces, and serve things in little packets creating more environment waste. The eggs and grits were average. Think the servings were too big when I ordered eggs and grits. Nice people but definitely room to improve.I originally put lower stars, but the owner contacted me and even though I paid... I'm giving 5 stars in good faith. He contacted me to pay for my meal because it wasn't perfect. I paid anyway but the good jesture matters. Thank you. :)

1st time in and it was so delicious! Gives you that authentic homemade Cuban food comfort feeling. I had the Cafe con Leche and an Egg,Chorizo and Cheese on Cuban bread sandwich. The best! && prices are great. Definitely try it out if you love authentic Cuban food! As you can see I was digging into mine! The other half of Cuban bread from my sandwich is for dipping in my coffee!!! Staff was so sweet and helpful. Thank you!

Delicious, fast, and friendly place! Great breakfast brought out piping hot, with super large portions. I loved the flavors a lot. Creamy, buttery, and super cheesy grits. Gigantic, and crispy pancakes. The sausage was so delicious. Definitely would come back for their wonderful breakfast. Prices are fantastic as well.

Absolutely love eating here from breakfast all the way to lunch. Coffee is always on point. Since the moment you walk in there is always a friendly smile behind the counter. They are very fast and always get the orders right. The taste is absolutely amazing. I 100% recommend them if your in the area.
